Also check the scholar's lounge next to piazza Venezia and the abbey theatre, close to piazza navona.

Anyone know of a place in Bahrain where there will be a few Reds?

Edit: Just seen on page 1 that the Polo pub in the palace hotel is listed. I usually stay there too but it was x3 the usual price this weekend, the F1 I guess.

Thought I could actually add some alternatives for Stockholm on this list, besides O'learys there are Retro Sports bar (not the best IMO, but an OK option).

There will be loads at the match, in the city, and in the pubs.

Contact the San Fran Branch to see what is lined up.

Generally they will have a training session at the stadium the day before. You may need a wristband to get in or they may sell tickets. The local branch will know nearer to the game.

Nice. I am in Texas but will fly to California for the game, probably a day early or two.

If you are on FB add the local supporters clubs; San Diego / LA and San Francisco clubs are all planning stuff as are the Phoenix Branch - will be plenty to do in the days leading up to the games.

It appears that UCLA have been approached by LFC for use of their facilities (Drake Stadium) in the build up to the Chelsea game at the Rose Bowl.
Been all over the world but Anfield is still my home.

I am moving to Stockholm at the end of the month for work, so those pubs are great for where to watch the game.

Not sure if this is the right place, but which team in Stockholm is a good team to watch? I want to start supporting a team within the city and i know they have a few teams.

Does anyone have any recommendations, a team similar to Liverpool with a nice fan base and play some decent football (for the standard given).

I've been told Hammarby are a nice team to support - liked by many, is that correct?

Cheers all! Bring on tonight!

Are the Houston pubs open for early for Europa games? I will be in Texas for the next two months and would love to have a place like the NYC pubs with all the fans together.

If anyone is ever looking for somewhere in Venice to watch Liverpool then try The Irish Pub.

I was in there last night watching the Dortmund match. They had four tv's showing the Liverpool match and one showing the Sevilla match. The drinks were relatively cheap and the bar staff very friendly.

I'll echo Paddys bar in Hamburg.

Three screens showing three games and a laptop showing a fourth. Friendly barstaff and loads of expats drinking in there.

Also in Hamburg near the town hall is

http://www.irishpub-fleetenkieker.de

Its underneath a restaurant and has three screens.  Was only showing one game but they had three English commentary on and they did food  (paddys is frozen pizza or toastie) didn't eat but it may be important for some

This is the Twitter feed of Shanghai Official Liverpool Supporters Club: https://twitter.com/LFCShangHai. I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

If you're not on Twitter, you could try sending them a message through here: http://www.liverpoolfc.com/fans/lfc-official-supporters-clubs/asia

I'm sure they'll at least tell you what channel it's on.

Then there's these bars from the OP, in case you want to go out:

Shanghai
Big Bamboo
PUXI - JING AN, #132 Nan Yang Lu
jpg map
www.bigbamboo.asia
plus.google.com/117689257900959907385
6256 2265
[19 June 2013]: Big Bamboo shows pretty much every Liverpool-game. Just in case, go on their homepage and see what they are showing. I really rec. this area, since if its full one place, you just walk for less then a minute to check out the other two.

Shanghai
The Spot
#331 Tong Ren Lu, Beijing Lu (1 minute walk from Big Bamboo)
www.thespot.com.cn/sports
www.facebook.com/SPOTshanghai
+86 21 6247 3579
info@thespot.com.cn
[19 June 2013]: My favorite. Just in case, go on their homepage and see what they are showing. I really rec. this area, since if its full one place, you just walk for less then a minute to check out the other two.

Shanghai
Windows Scoreboard

Google map
www.windowsbars.com/scoreboard/scoreboard.aspx
+86 21 5382 7757
[28 Nov 2013]: meh I prefer Windows at HuaiHai lu, sipping my beer and eating some french fries. Very few fans though, the last time I came across one was for the Liverpool vs United game. I will check Big Bamboo, heard a lot about that place.

hey just saw your post. I have been in Shanghai from 2005-2014 , windows has been my favorite spot for liverpool games or else you can check the spot. We have cheap beers and food at windows the atmosphere is usually less crowded during weekdays at times you might be the only one. the spot is usually packed for events , a bit pricier but expats love that place. both have a big pool table and yeah if you are going to windows try their roasted chicken breast that comes with fries. goes well with the beer.

I know it's quarter to midnight, and I haven't got much useful to say anyway! But I had a reply from LSCNZ_CH:

"See Facebook Chch group. Craythorne public house might show a replay but nowhere showing live sorry."

Quick response so if you're there in the future, I recommend emailing the address you'll get off the NZ supporters club website or, as he says, see the Facebook Chch group.

EDIT: This is the page with the email address on it: www.liverpoolfcnz.com/watching-games/

Depends on what Windows you are talking about (as I remember it, there are two in Shanghai?). One of them was the hang out place for teenagers in Shanghai, and was absolutely crap.

Area around The Spot have two other bars as well. Big Bamboo, and another one (that expats from Germany get together and watch Bundesliga, but they also show PL there. Don't remember the name though). We usually went to Big Bamboo. If it was full there, it was just 5 minutes to walk to the other two.

to be honest both are the fav hangouts for teenages. There is one at Nanjing road( near Jin an si) and one at Huai Hai road.  The cheap drinks attract these young drinkers, back then i was one of them haha.

Does anyone know a good pub in Stockholm to watch the Final on the 18th?

Thanks!

Try the Dubliner. Not been there is a few years but used to have plenty of screens.

Some more on Venice from the Europa League final thread:
Will be in Venice of all places for this. Booked the trip before the semi-final, stupid enough not to have looked on a possible final date, so originally I'd be on a night train in northern Italy without any roaming data for the final. It was possible to book another night and another train thankfully. Can't seem to find the thread which lists places around the world to watch games so: can someone recommend a place in Venice?
Hi mate, I was there during Christmas in 2013 when we played Stoke away I think? I realised quickly that the Italians dont give a shit about the English Football and I found it hard to find a place to watch our game. After going into a few places, I stumbled across an Irish Pub not far from our hotel in Canneregio(Spelling?) on Strada Nuova, kinda on the McNasty's side but further up. Hope it helps!
Devil's Forest Pub- google map it when you are in the center. It is easy to access and they have several screens.

I was there in 14/15 and went early in the morning, spoke to the staff and they accommodated three league games later that afternoon in on a screen in front of a booth I managed to book.

The staff speak fluent english and they have a vast selection of craft beers- bear in mind the staff like to have a laugh at your expense (all in good fun).

I would suggest going early as the pub fills up quickly as the day wears on.
