Why ??

Even if the FA do respond to the finger gesture we should just do what Arsenal always do ..... appeal, demand a personal hearing and then keep delaying (citing the player being too busy) until he won't be missed.
Never then?

The advantage we have being at home is we can go a bit more attacking. I actually think we need to leave out Suarez for this one. I'd rather him have a break and lose him for a game, and then have him come back rested champing at the bit. He's just not performing at the same level for the last few games, he looks exhausted.

Midfield 3 of Henderson Adam And Shelvey seems to pick itself sadly. I'd put Henderson in the middle as the holding Mid. He's no Lucas, but his recent performances suggest he is far better defensively than the other two. I also think it's time to start playing Kelly again. With Lucas missing, we need his defensive capabilities more than we do Johnson's ability to burst forward.

Front 3 of Bellamy, Maxi and Carroll. Might also be time to try that Coates & Carra partnership again to give our first choice CB's a break. QPR are a good side, but not better than Chelsea, and Carra/Coates handled them just fine.

Who do people think will play in midfield because of Spearing and Lucas.

Shelvey or Henderson?

Personally I would like to see Henderson play there.

Shelvey but only just. Henderson cant tackle for peanuts which is a real worry because Shelvey and Adam aren't that great at it either.

Yep, that is what i'd go for. Suarez would be a good option off the bench but i feel like he's becoming frustrated and things aernt going his way.

Bench: Doni, Kelly, Coates, Aurelio(if fit) Suso, Kuyt, Suarez.

Resting Suarez would also be good.
Our midfield will strugle.
We should play Kuyt up top to help.
I hope we score.

I think a team is due a beating off us, so lets hope we are clinical and give QPR a demolition.

What makes people think Suarez needs a rest?

He's been nowhere near his best for 2 or 3 games now, and he seems to be growing more and more frustrated. If nothing else, it will give him the chance to focus and get out of the goalless rut he is in.

We need to be competitive in the middle of the park against these- infact fuck it, we need to compete all over the pitch because QPR will be up for it as they will have taken heart from Norwich and Swansea and of course Fulhams result last night.
What i would give for an early goal for us to settle the crowd and hopefully put somebody to the sword and win 4 or 5 -0. I genuinely believe thats all it will take at the minute for us to go on another good run. We need Kuyt in there for me , even more so now Lucas is out. He has what it takes to press the opposition all over the pitch.  We need width aswel Warnock will have them compact as always so we need to strech them , I wouldnt be too suprised to see Downing start on the left.

Reina

Johnson
Skrtel
Agger
Enrique

Kuyt
Henderson
Shelvey
Adam

Can't understand why people would leave Suarez out, stating he needs a rest.

If he is charged with the finger incident (and he's going to do well to talk himself out of it) then he'll get a ban next week anyway.
Rest him when he's fucking banned, not when he is available!!

He doesn't need a rest, he needs a goal.  You can see he is desperate to get on the scoresheet, and getting a goal before he sits out a game or two will do him the world of good!

 Johnson        Skrtel           Agger          Enrique

                    Hendo             Adam

   Kuyt                   Shelvey                   Maxi

                             Suarez

Hendo and Adam will have to put their defensive shift in as I dont think Coady is quite ready to be starting for us yet.

That looks good...could try maxi in shelvey's place and downing on the left?

Suarez looks very tired to me and we have a busy December period so I actually think another striker will be paired with Suarez to help out with the dirty work. Could be Kuyt or Carroll...reckon Kenny will give Andy another chance.
