Hopefully that's not true.

United makes sense as we are both out of the Carabao

Monday night games are the 3rd or 4th pick, I can't see us v utd going that far, especially considering it's a shite weekend otherwise.

The derby is a bit more complicated with Arsenal v Tottenham the same week.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal play the Tues after so both the Merseyside derby and North London derby need to be played on the Sat. Can see us kicking off at 5.30 with the other 1 12.30
There are only 2 teams in Liverpool. Liverpool and Liverpool reserves.

There's nothing to stop them moving the following midweek game to the Wednesday in that scenario.

Is Burnley away DEF the Tue then? I was hoping it might be moved as I have tickets for a gig that night :( Booked it ages ago and just took a chance.

Is this for Oct/Nov? So Cardiff stays at Sat 3pm?

This is for December/January. October has already been done.

Only four teams are currently scheduled to play Wednesday. So some of those Tuesday games HAVE to move to the Wednesday, otherwise there would be no televised games on the Sunday. Nobody is gong to have to play Sunday/Tuesday.

So the Burnley game will be Wednesday, if we play Everton on the Sunday.

I don't think Monday games are the 4th pick - if possible Sky will want it on the Monday so they can get Carra and Gaz Nev to do it

United v Spurs was a Monday this season.

Can't see that being 3rd or 4th pick.

Having said that, most of the time the Monday night game is a low key fixture.

I don't know exactly how those first and second picks etc get parcelled out and what kind of horse trading goes on between Sky and BT behind the scenes, but that does seem to point to Monday night being unlikely (thankfully).

Looking at it though, it does make you think that the derby combined with Spurs v Arsenal is a prime opportunity for a Super Sunday on Sky...

Well we played United on a Monday a couple of seasons ago, the dire 0-0 if I remember.

And like I said United v Spurs this season, so I wouldn't completely count it out.

Also, Friday games are included in that Monday package and we played Arsenal on a Friday last season

Seems a bit odd, given they let it go ahead then two seasons ago? There was no significant trouble was there that night? It was a throughly unmemorable night all round, so can’t recall...

Here's the dates for the December games, this game's on that date, that game was going to be on this date but now somethings happening so it's being moved again, this game will be moved again by 24 hours if that team play in the League Cup quarter finals, oh hang on the police said that game can't go ahead now on that day, please can you retweet so that your friends will think that with all this 'information' I'm providing that I'm some sort of reliable source and will add to my growing list of followers. I'm on 30,000 now following all my 'updates'.

Here's a novel idea: Just wait for the fixtures to be announced by the relevant authorities.

It was about 2pm last time but some clubs like City and Leicester announced their games which had been moved before Sky and BT confirmed it.

So that means the FA Cup 3rd round is unlikely to be a Saturday game, with the Man City away now Thursday 3rd January.

Anyone who can make a qualified guess/verdict on the possibilty for the West Ham game first weekend in february to get moved? I guess Friday isn’t a possibility anymore as we play against Leicester the wednesday before, but what about the other slots that weekend? I fear a monday night game

There virtually isn't any point trying to guess. Even though the following midweek is a potential FA Cup replay date, I don't think that stops there being Monday night games.

Probably won't be a Monday game that week cos there's FA Cup replays scheduled for that midweek.
