Good luck Degen. He had a lot of trouble with injuries and Rafa obviously saw something that made him stick by him. If he gets some games under his belt next season and stays injury free he could make a decent squad player next season for us or alternatively we may get £1 million plus for him.
It is not the Liverpool way to be stab a player in the back when he did nothing wrong to the fans or the club - People calling him a terrible player should be ashamed, if he was bad he wouldn't be capped by Switzerland, be playing for a top German side this season and still be on our books.

Did not mind him too much but the day he was selected before Sami for the CL was a fecking tragedy as I don’t think he was even fully fit at that or any point while here.
