Been dying to see Suarez and Gerrard start together! Tomorrow would be a great time to see it. 8)

As our best CB, hopefully Agger can start but not sure just how fit he is yet? Carra needs to be benched from time to time and slowly phased out but tomorrow is not the time. Those games will come.

Equal fitness, I would rather start Johnson than Kelly but since Glen's been out longer, maybe Kelly gets the start? If whoever is fittest starts, I'm fine with that.

Undecided where I'd like Gerrard to play. There's a case for playing him next to Lucas instead of Adam, playing him behind Suarez with Carroll on the bench or playing him on the right in place of Kuyt/Henderson.

I'd probably go with him next to Lucas but I can see merit in the others too so wouldn't be overly disappointed either way.

Starting to get really excited now. At least with the early kickoff, it's less time to sit twiddling my thumbs waiting. ;D

The imbecile formerly known as babraham. But now called babraham again! Though still an imbecile. Sadly.

These days the fans aren't like they were way back when - talking here your Kop in the 50's and 60's and our Stretford End same period. The auld arses in the terraces would have sorted out anything approaching such vile shite very early doors. Now the auld arses can't afford to ferkin' go!!

Age has nothing to do with it. I'm 31 and won't stand for this sort of thing from either side.

I've told a bloke who must have been mid 40's to cut it out.

Idiots come in all ages, its up to the others to put them straight.

Was thinking about this the other day and remembered a game back in 2001 (when Gerrard ripped the net open from 30 yards ;) ) and I litterally got into a near fist fight with some auld fella who was constantly giving it the airplane wings, I was only in my mid-20s and this fella must have been at least 50. There is nothing wrong with striving to win, so long as you don't set the prize above the game. There can be no dishonour in defeat nor any conceit in victory. What matters above all is that the team plays in the right spirit, with skill, courage, fair play,no favour and the result accepted without bitterness. Sir Matt Busby CBE KCSG 1909-1994

Just imagine if we beat them and they go on to lose against City next week. We'd be level on points. And instead of them never hearing the end of it, all we'd hear is how quickly we'll fall behind them again.

I dunno mate - I don't get really bothered by what the scum of society do.

It's like when I go into a pub and a group of knuckle heads call me a Paki or something ... I don't get bothered because when you know they are human scum and the dregs of society, all you can do is feel pity for how pathetic some people are. People that mock Hillsborough or Munich are utterly sad individuals.

The OP was right - back in the day, there would have been more people with backbone in the stadium  to discipline such individuals.

After 8 games,9 points behind them.Looks good?
Of course this result matters. We have a set of relatively easy games after this, and a win here will surely surely bolster our confidence.Of course in the long run we may not be competing against them for the title, but to win this would be excellent, especially after the start that they've made.

There's woe and doom and gloom all around from some of the "famous" TV pundits re Rooney's 3 match Euro ban. WTF did they expect him to get for kicking unprovoked lumps out of the defender - a gentle tut-tut and a wrist slap?
Fook me - it was a dead right nailed on straight red. End of story. When the fuck will our silly Scouse bleeder learn?? ::) ::)

I know this has nowt to do with LFC v MUFC but I needed to say it - hope it's tolerated..... :P :-X ;)

I assume its because the 'experts' expected the authorities to bend over like the FA do, well, its only wayne and you kow what he is like
