Interesting stat in the Blackburn - Villa game.

Stephen Warnock has been booked in 7 of his last 9 league games. Playing away against his old club, 7/4 to be shown a card on Betfair.

Sunderland/Everton tonight.

Will wait on team-news, but FGS bets are obviously between Bent (6.2), Gyan (7.0) or Cahill (8.6).

The DNB is offering pretty much evens for either side, (1.94 and 2.02 at the minute) and if Sunderland have some decent firepower up front I think I'll take a bit of a nibble of that.

Really fancy Spurs with a handicap v Bremen midweek.

Bremen aren't playing well at all and leaking goals. Can see Spurs scoring a few here.

Have to look around for prices.

I think this bet at 5/1 is well good!Worth a tenner.

R. Soderling 4/9
Benfica 7/10
Spurs 1/2
Chelsea 2/11
Valencia 2/11

Also as a small outside bet our own old lad Djibral is facing off at home against the mighty Barcelona for Panathanikos. Bacra havent been overly impressive in the CL but find themselves just needing one win from their remaining two games to qualify. Also with 'El Clasico' coming up this weekend you'd have to expect a distraction. Fancy Barca to get at least a draw here butI'd expect goals.

D. Cisse 1st Goal Scorer 9/1 (With Paddy Power you will get double odds if he scores in the opening 15 minutes)

or

D. Cisse to score two or more goals 25/1

Worth a flutter me thinks!

They;re shit hot at home and Brighton have been poo in the last three games. Think they are 23/20 whatever the fuck that is.

Chesterfield and Bournemouth at home to.

Both teams to score Peterborough at home to Leyton.

Bit of after timing but got on the Overs @ 2.25 seemed like a game that would have goals in it, monday night atmosphere helped this.

Can't pick anything decent tonight, what are people on?

Spartak Moscow v Marseille
Ajax v Real Madrid
Auxerre v AC Milan
Basle v CFR 1907 Cluj-Napoca
Braga v Arsenal
Chelsea v MSK Zilina
Partizan Belgrade v Shakhtar Donetsk
Roma v Bayern Munich

Thinking about a decent punt on AC Milan tonight.

Real Madrid went to Auxerre a few weeks back and were 8/13. AC go there tonight and they're 5/4. Bit more research required, but I fancy I might get on.

Can't agree that last night's game pointed to overs. 20 goals shared between both sides shared 12 home and away games this season and 5 of their respective 6 were unders. Couple that with the recent history that the last 7 meetings at Sunderland between the two sides had produced unders, I'd have played on unders.

Strangely though before last night, the 2 games out of 12 that had produced overs were 2-2 draws.

A very dull treble of Soderling, Chesterfield & Shrewsbury tonight for me.

Soderling - Pressure is on after the defeat to Murray (sloppy start cost him dearly) but he's still one of the best indoor players for me and Ferrer knows that he has little chance of progression and will be happy to pick up the extra ranking points. Strange to see him at a shorter price than he was 3 weeks ago when they met in Valencia but Soderling responded well to that defeat and I think his extra power will be key here.

Chesterfield - Little to be said about their home form. Bounced back from the defeat against Burton with a solid win at Aldershot and Oxford are on a horrendous run. 5 straight defeats with just a single goal scored and all signs point to a Chesterfield win. I really can't see why it is 10/11.

Shrewsbury - More of a bet against Hereford than a bet on Shrewsbury. Hereford's little unbeaten run came to an end against Lincoln at the weekend and to ship 3 goals to a side that had been struggling to score goals is a concern with a trip to Shrewsbury on the horizon. Shrews are still unbeaten at home and continue to look strong and I'll add them to the bet.

Pays a tad more than 15/4.
If you're reading this signature as a result of reading a post of mine in 'The Bets Thread', then please ignore the aforementioned post as I'm likely to be spouting bollocks and if you follow me, you'll lose money. Thank You.

Ive had a decent punt on Arsenal to score both halves tonight.

I appreciate Braga are no mugs but we all know Arsenal like to score goals and the Pointy nosed moaning one will be eager to wrap this group up tonight with Shaktar luking behind and Real,Barca,Munich all looking likely group winners Wenger will want to win this group.

Braga wil probably score too and i hope they do.

Van P and Fabregas unlikely to start but still plenty of firepwer there.

Hows ya luck going Pete?

My 3 week ( 7 bets up ) has took a nose dive.  Back to the drawing board me thinks. I fancy Arsenal to be honest. I may put them in me bets for tonight and goals to be in the Peterborough / Leyton game and Wycombe / Torquay game and Southampton / Brighton. Also fancy Chesterfield, Shefff Wed and Bournemouth.
