Finished my pick and off for a while --- fucking appalled is up.

Went with my favorite striker as I expect there will be a run on those types of players early on.... Romario is my favorite striker of the era (except for a holy man often found kneeling doing Columbian yoga on the sidelines).

Matthäus might get some of the same skewed looks as Van Basten as his peak was 90, but he was fantastic at two positions through the 90s.

The first picks have gone pretty much as you’d expect, no shocking picks so far.

A lot of the best strikers / second strikers already gone. Definitely moving towards the second tier and with so many picks to go that surely means my two picks are under threat!

I probably won’t have an elite striker but hoping if I get the midfield balance right it won’t matter because Jason Lee could score a hatful for me.

I was including Laudrup in my striker talk as he was more often than not a second striker.
