Best season so far for me.More grown up

I loved the first 2 seasons and i thought Wagner Moura was good, but i did have one tiny gripe in that he played Pablo Escobar like someones Grandad after having too much turkey and spuds on christmas day and just wanted to stick on his elasticated waist Farah pants and watch only fools and horses re-runs

He did always seem like he's full to burst.  Gluttonous fucker.

Going to watch the last episode of season 3 after I've put the kids to bed. This series, and particularly the third season, has blown me away. Haven't had this feeling since The Wire. I love every aspect of it. Although I loved Escobar/Wagner Moura, I found the Cali Cartel way more entertaining. My only complaint is that there is too little Chepe.

Brilliant, brilliant show.

Halfway through the third season. This is a thoroughly good show. I was concerned with how it would play out without a certain character, but if anything it has gotten better. It's fucking fantastic.

Season 3 was brilliant. Infact they could have gone into much more depth and had another season of this story - the characters were brilliant.

Thought season 3 was absolutely brilliant, and as you say, that story could have been said over more than 1 season as well. If they manage to make a 4th season, I already can't wait for it.

I know but after the murder of the location manager, they've put the brakes on things. Which is of course understandable.

But I know what you mean - he was such a brilliant 'baddie' and the actor was bang on the money too.

Just finished season 3. Superb stuff

All through this I couldn't help notice how plainly beautiful Jorge Salcedo's wife Paola was.  Turns out the actress who played her was Miss Columbia 2007 and Miss Universe runner up!!

Spoiler
David Rodriguez going down in a hail of North Valley Cartel bullets in the last episode pleased me. Evil little bastard.

Great stuff cheers mate, Starts on 16th Nov by all accounts.

Says on WIKI it was originally intended to be the fourth season of the Netflix original series Narcos, it was ultimately developed as a companion series focusing on the illegal drug trade in Mexico.

Does this mean we will still get season 4 of Narcos's with Pedro Pascal reprising his role as Javier Peña?  At the end of Narcos: Season 3 we saw Pena looking towards Mexico but obviously this was circa 1994.   This new series is set in 80's Mexico.

Don't see why we can't have both :)

Maybe they will let this run as background to what Series 4 is setting up then?

Have the 2 combine after a couple series
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

episode 1 was quite good in all the normal Narcotic ways...

I know that the book is based on true events, as is the series, but I kept thinking back to Don Wilson's Power of the Dog when watching the first episode...

Although the Narcos younger brother is a botanist rather than POTD's psycho narco-terrorist, so the analogy sort of falls down... ;D
