Schalke could've played for 10 hours and not even stretched the Augsburg goalkeeper.

Quite an achievement for Wagner to get Schalke playing like Huddersfield since the resumption.

Forget the defence, look at what they've got going the other way. They've scored 2 goals in 8 games and even 1 of them was against Paderborn. Wagner cannot coach attacking football at all. They're mighty fortunate they scraped some results before the Winterpause.

That's true, Schalke were awful before the lockdown.

I forgot this was on as was watching the Bielefeld match which was poor, switched over for the last few minutes.

Said in another thread last night that 3 teams had won at home since the resumption of the Bundesliga. Not sure there is much in this pitch measurement malarkey.

Bayern, Dortmund & Hertha Berlin.  Mainz currently trailing at home to Leipzig and David Wagner's Schalke have just 3-0 at home to Augsburg having had 72% of the ball.

This was always going to be the case without a crowd. I'm not sure why the anti-neutral venue brigade have never understood this

Yep. You've no crowd noise, no cumulative fatigue has built up from sides who have to play every 3 days and a similar level of fitness. Therefore, the difference maker will always be skill and talent.

Poulsen with a shocking miss. Should be 0-3

Unless your tactics are spot on, which unless you've built up a level of necessary fitness, is going to be a problem.

Hardly any teams apart from Bayern and Dortmund have won at home yet. Makes a mockery of all the bottom clubs over here moaning about not being able to play at home when there's no fans. It's a leveller if anything.
