Hasn't ESPN Goals been taken over by The S*n? Strange because I still have the app and shows this weeks fixtures.

If it doesn't work, I've got the BBC iPlayer app so I can watch MOTD on there
someone said it was the s*n and the Times that do the new app so they can fuck off twice over.  I deleted my Espn app after the season ended so not sure what's still on it but I can't see them having the goals available to them

The one that brought it home to me was Lost.  I watched it on channel 4 for two series, then it was bought by sky.

I then discovered other means of watching everything.

Why would I want to pay about a grand a year for something then still have adverts rammed down my throat.

If I pay a premium, I want no adverts.

And people who are skywashed criticise the beeb?

To watch it legally may be a monopoly but really the Pubs/Bars showing foreign feeds, alternative sat boxes, personal ability to stream any match world wide & pretty much pick your broadcaster makes it anything but a monopoly in reality. Streaming is good enough now to link up & watch on TV & its only going to get better + for every site Sky lawyers force to close another 5 pop up.

Hats off to Virgin for eventually agreeing a deal with BT Sports and for free as well for XL customers. The patience paid off in the end!

Yeah was surprised they sorted this in time for our game. Wouldn't have made a massive difference for me, as I'll still need to stream it off Virgin Anywhere (internet streams will hardly be thin on the ground!) but it's good to have it for when I am back at home.

I got rid of Sky years ago for the same reasons stated above, I do have BT broadband though and was surprised to find out I could have the new channels for free.

I'm waiting for the catch.

Yeah, got BT Free here, which is nice since that mean a consistent steam for games. I'll take it honestly - we don't get Sky Sports and it would be nice to watch Liverpool more.

Watching the preview though and apparently Newcastle could buy James Milner ;D can't see it somehow...

Good stuff.

Probably petrified about losing a shit load of customers(like me) if they weren't able to offer some sort of live football this season. Boy, I haven't half done some moaning to them these in recent weeks, especially when they told me I'd still have to pay the same amount even though they no longer had ESPN. Glad they've got it sorted now anyway.

I sometimes wonder, is he unaware of how much he is disliked in this country, or is it just a case of him being fully aware of what people think about him and not giving a shit?
