Don't forget that he also pulled a couple of defenders just far enough across the box to open up space for Suso and Assaidi for the second goal. He obviously didn't have a chance to do much in his little cameo, but that goal doesn't happen without him. Congrats to the lad!

FFS, Sinclair is younger than my youngest kid... I should seek solace in the Auld Arse thread.

It's good for him to make an appearance for the senior team. I still think that he's not there yet, but the hunger has been made even stronger with these few minutes on the pitch. And if he was a bit more built up (not suggesting that he should be at this stage) he could have had a couple of interesting one-on-ones with the defenders... Good luck lad!

I don't think he did much, but by just getting on the pitch, it will give him, and other youngsters a belief that they will get a chance.
Something which has been lacking in recent years.
It used to do my head in when previous managers would ignore a young centre mid, when every other centre mid was injured, just to play an old defender/striker out of position.

Just got him a big move to us, as well as big offers from Arsenal and Chelsea - doubt he's dumping him anytime soon.

Annoying thing is we've just given him a big fuck off pay day with this deal.

Cheers for that mate.

Yeah he's a c*nt and is destroying players careers to a certain extent. It's alright for sterling he's good but not everyone is playing first team football at a young age week in week out and to fuck up your players prospective moves because your a money grabbing c*nt is disgusting.

Probably depends on where players are at. Sterling and Ox are in a position where they can drop him any time they want if he doesn't look after their best interests. Unfortunately for Jerome he's struggling to get a break after his early hype, so he's not in a position to drop an agent who can probably get him a good move but is too self interested to look after Jeromes best interests.

Great insight. Thanks for that.

Horrible to think of young lads who have the talent and could be playing good quality football only for an agent to spoil it all due to greed. To miss out because of that is scandalous.

Oxlade-Chamberlain evidently has the power himself given that he settled for the lowest-paid deal and signed for six years. Never in the world would that be Ward's favourite deal.

Second this, Ox knew what he wanted and chose Liverpool instead of Arsenal & Chelsea.
Someone like Sinclair however who's still trying to get consistent football , needs to get away from this twat before he hinders his progression further.

Though I doubt Ward is that arsed if Oxlade-Chamberlain picks the lower wage if he's getting paid the same agent fee either club?
