Is it possible to convert a JPEG image into a scalable vector image? If so, can somebody with the know-how help me out? It is to create stencils for my next banner project. Image attached.

I've not made a banner since Athens so a bit rusty, looks a little bit fuzzy in GIMP when it's scaled up to a massive size but it's hard to tell until you get it printed out, miss those days of trying to sellotape 12 a4 pages together and get everything lined up

It's worked out really well. Expands nicely all the way to 2AO size. The image prints onto 28 sheets of A4. Let the jigsaw commence!

Seen the pics in the banner thread, looks good

If you ever need to do it again there's a free program called inkscape which is easy to use, first one was with default settings then just tweaked them a little bit for the 2nd one
