No Wilson, Kent, Philips or Curtis Jones at Melwood for the photo shoot of the first team yesterday. Unlikely he is off on loan without signing a new contract.

His contract runs out in a year and he's not signed an extension yet. He's spent about 18 months training with the first team and has 45 minutes in a nothing fa cup game to show for it, Elliott has now come in and basically taken his space in the first team squad and there's not really a clear path to the first team in midfield at the moment. He might sign a new deal, get a loan and everything then is fine for now. But this is basically his only chance for the next 3-5 years where he has a lot of leverage. His england team mates are making moves in search of first team football, he might want that as well.
