Patio Help
« on: March 9, 2024, 01:47:55 pm »
Looking to repave our small garden.

It’s north facing so doesn’t get loads of sun and currently has very old crazy paving out there. We will keep it simple but wondered if people would recommend sandstone or porcelain slabs ?

We ideally want a light grey and the slabs to be the same size as except where they are cut at edges.
No, jazz. You fear jazz. You fear the lack of rules, the lack of boundaries. Oh look, it's a fence. But, no, it's soft.

Half expected this to be relating to the neighbour with the screw loose and you're re-enacting Brookside.

Did you get tired of having to explain it whilst on holiday?

I've actually seen porcelain tiles that are made to look exactly like sandstone. Unbelievable quality as they were stain resistant which was essential as they were in a cafe I supplied. Bloody expensive and super bulky. No slippage or sealing and only require a power washer to maintain.
And all the world is football shaped, It's just for me to kick in space. And I can see, hear, smell, touch, taste.

Have you considered imprinted concrete? Bit more expensive, but it’s done once and that’s it barring a re-coat every couple of years. No weeds, and looks great, just pick your pattern.
