Discuss.

Robbie Keane's another player that promised a lot, was bloody good and then faded. Some players just seem to hit their peak at about 18-20 and never again recreate it.

What's the issue with him?  ???

Always seems a decent fella and granted it didn't work out for him in 08/09, but I didn't feel
it was through lack of trying. Remember him scoring against us for Spurs and not celebrating
showing his respect to the Club...

He's the reason for my unfortunate username. When the Kop sang 'His names not Keano', I wanted the ground to swallow me up. Great servant for the Irish though and hope he does well in this tournament. Great player but his time at Liverpool is easily forgotten.

I was delighted when we signed him. Thought he would kick us on to the title.

Well, I was very wrong. He was shite.

Completely, 'couldn't score into an empty net', shite. Repeatedly so - have we ever had such a shite fucker that couldn't score from tap-in positions quite like him?

If I was happy when we signed him, I was over the moon when we sold him six months later.

Selling him (for a 3 million hit) was the best bit of business rafa ever did.  :wave

He would have fit in to this year's Liverpool team with all the missed chances.
“It was the first game of the qualifying for us and well we can take a lot from it ,like I was talking to one of the guys from TNS about my internet connection at home and he said the reason I sometimes can't get on is because I am running the wrong browser with Windows 95 and he suggested I update to Windows XP” - 23 Carra Gold

Yes it was his fault we didn't win the league. Then you have the likes of Downing who you yourself were banging the drum for costing us 7th...

Strange thread.

Everyone knows he's Irish anyway, and I'm not sure why you'd care enough about such a marginal figure to remind us.
I'm really hoping Sturridge busts out the wacky dip when he scores.
