there are extra buses and trains for Bundesliga games. I would think they'll do the same for this game but i don't know for certain. They should do it because there aren't enough sleeping places in Sinsheim and a lot of People will have to get to Heidelberg or even further away.

And about keeping the away end behind. I can't say but it's the first european game in a small city. They won't know what hit them with all the reds supporters. So they might do that :(

thanks m8

We've just booked it now, not particularly confident on 3/7 but will hopefully be spares

No credit for this is there?

Think it'll go to all members.

This just looks like a return to the old european away travel form that we used to have to complete.

And/or perhaps the club wants to collect info like passport numbers in prep for a ticket collection out in Sinsheim.

Think he means you dont get a credit for future games, so credit hunters wont be buying them up. Some may not bother, as no credit, and wait for the group stages.

Yes, that's what I meant.  Only people who intend to go will buy.  It's not the easiest part of Germany to get to, not the most appealing part of Germany, looks like there's no cheap option and it's a qualifier and people will be saving for later rounds (if we get to it).

I think anybody who wants a ticket will get one.

Go to DB Bahn (German rail) website for trains - remember though the stadium is in Sinsheim (6km from Hoffenheim) so trains to Koln will be from there (think there's a station near stadium called Sinsheim Museum/Arena). Think you'll have a few train changes on your journey though.

I read somewhere that they run extra buses and trains for Bundesliga matches, so imagine it would be the same for this. They must do otherwise everyone would have to drive.

I am from Sinsheim (the City Hoffenheim play their games). So if anyone is looking for advice or some tips just sent me a pm ;)

I usually use the flight from stuttgart to Manchester (Ryanair) when i visit Liverpool.

Could you tell me the nearest campsites to Sinsheim. If I go to this I was thinking I might drive, throw the tent in the car and get a taxi to town for the game. struggling for time of work though.
Thanks

It'll say it when the selling details come out. can't see it counting as qualifiers never have as long as I've been traveling.
By the look of it they are going to do collection over there for this one. It's pointless filling in the details we have to if they are not. The first sale would have to be Monday or Tuesday if they are posting them out and I can't see that happening.

This is from the home matches auto cup:

"Auto Cup Scheme payment will be taken for this game and tickets purchased will not count towards any future sales criteria."

http://www.liverpoolfc.com/tickets/acs-european-competition

Home and away qualifying matches have never counted in the past, and it looks like this hasn't changed for home matches.  I haven't heard anything about aways but as they've never counted in the past and it looks like home hasn't changed, I assume the away will be the same.

It's the first time that auto cup has been used for qualifiers though (I think), so that's different.

Well the nearest is Camping Hilsbachtal (8 kilometres from the stadium). But it's only for naked people. Maybe you don't mind :D
https://www.camping-hilsbachtal.de/pages/unser-platz.html

Then there is Camping Heidelberg in Heidelberg-Schlierbach. You can catch a train to the stadium from there.
http://www.camping-heidelberg.de/english.php
and a camp site in Neckargemünd. you can can catch the same train from there
https://en.camping.info/germany/baden-w%c3%bcrttemberg/campingplatz-friedensbr%c3%bccke-17842?onMap=1

and there are camping sites in St.Leon-Rot and Ubstadt-Weiher at a lake. But they are 25 kilometres from the stadium. I think a taxi would cost about 50€ one way.
https://www.st.leoner-see.de/de/camping.html
https://en.camping.info/germany/baden-w%c3%bcrttemberg/freizeitzentrum-hardtsee-18938

Apparently there is also a camp site in Odenheim (17 kilometres). But I have never heard of it before and I live 6 kilometres away.

Flying day of the game,
Manchester - Brussels - Frankfurt - Heidelberg
Heidelberg - Düsseldorf - Manchester on the Wednesday.

Tips for anyone getting trains, if you book in a group of 5+ you get a 40% discount. We booked 9 tickets from Frankfurt to Heiselberg and it comes at €18 each, where as if you booked individually its around €25-30 each.

Credits are very high for that allocation. Doesn't look promising for the groups
