No Lewandowski or Müller right?  Maybe a smash and grab?

Fingers crossed then.

Musiala already on the bench for Bayern is pretty crazy, he's barley played for their 2nd team. 2003 age group crop of english youngsters might end up outshing the 2000's they have so much depth of talent.

It's essentially what you'd expect from Bayern in the early rounds on the Pokal, only it's enforced. Gladbach couldn't wish for a better opportunity.

Injured

This Bayern team has been transformed into one of these Robo-Bayern teams as under Heynckes and Guardiola, they are basically just machines, interchangeable parts, who will continue to just roll through teams and put up the points. And boring as hell for anyone who doesn’t support them  ::)

5 away wins from the 6 games so far  :o

I'm really interested to see if this happens in the Premier League as well, or if it's just a random fluke.

Hard to believe we are almost back. All these weeks without stress - hope I can still handle it  ;D

Unbelievable, looks like Gladbach will have to sub off Marcus Thuram, a few minutes in  :butt

he won’t, Breel Embolo on now.

Such a shame, without Thuram and Plea, Gladbach are now without their top 2 attackers by far.

I guess it just proves that most goalies can commit howlers. It's the only position really where you can't get away with anything, as its so obvious any mistake.

That was so unlucky for Monchengladbach - they were easily the better side so far, especially in the middle of the park - you'd expect Kimmich and Goretzka to get better, but they have been dreadful so far.

Muller is Bayern's Bobby Frimino, doesn't get much credit forim the wider audience for the role he plays due to goalscoring exploits of Lewandowski like Salah but when he doesn't play Bayern instantly become a much worse team as he's the one who makes them tick and is the driving force for them being a well oiled machine.

I'd argue he does get credit - or at least used to with the old "Raumdeuter" thing - he also scores and assists a lot more than our Bobby - at least this season.  Last season, Bobby also got loads of praise, with lots of people putting him in the premier league TOTS and stuff - it's just this our defence have been even better, and Hendo is the one they've been singling out for effusive praise outside that.  For the record - Bobby F had 12 goals and 6 assists last season in 2620 mins (one every 145.6 mins) and 8 goals and 7 assists last season in 2422 mins (one every 161.5 mins, so a little bit worse)  - compared to Muller this season's 7 goals and 20 assists(!) in 1992 mins (one every 73.8 mins), although he had a particularly poor (for him) season last year with only 6 goals and 9 assists in 2391 (one every 159.4 mins, his worse return since 2011/12 for Bayern) which, coupled with Coutinho's early form for them and his poorish first month of this season, led to some people questioning whether he was past it.

Thomas Müller’s been one of the most promient players and written about players in Germany for years, and has got an absolute shit-ton of credit for his talents and success. And that massive amount of credit in the bank carried him through 2 season of frankly poor form, but now he’s back for sure, this is one of his best ever seasons.

It did become fashionable here on RAWK to make out he was shit though  ;D
