He's show boating to the crowd after palming out a shot, without realising someone's knocked in the rebound.

Spot on. Then He'll do his odd little head shake and the segue into his scally strut.

This fella is such an easy target (just like his goal!) to take the piss out of, all his own fault! Not sure how many 'Allez' type chants I've come up with for him, but here's another to add to the list!

Pickford doesn’t like it.
When kopites take the mick.
He pulls some faces.
One day they’re gonna stick!
He beats the deck in anger.
His shirt sleeves never fit.
He somehow plays for England
Although he's fuckin shit...

He's the next Joe Hart.  I reckon if he was 30 + he wouldn't even be looked at by a top club.    I'll give him he is a very good shot stopper but his command of the box is piss poor and positioning can be poor at times.   Sort of similar to Mignolet.   At least we only paid 9 mill though!

Eh not sure I'm seeing that. I think the only trait/characteristic Mignolet and TRex share is the unease/uncertainty they cause in their own team.  The ' Ohhhh shit are we doing THIS, again?' factor. Mignolet never came across as particularly brainless, more as someone who could suffer unbelievable brain lapses (never forget him waiting and waiting to kick a slow rolling ball, only to wait until it went out for a corner against him, and then thwacking it) and wasn't top man at controlling his area, but he was solid on the line (and the problem later on seemingly was that he would never stir from his line. Like, ever). Pickford throws himself around willy nilly trying to impress the cameras and his own inner child. Plus he appears to be proper barking mad at times. Mignolet more soft spoken it seemed, and that worked against him as well, but they were different kinds of shaky. To summarize: I liked Mignolet but thought he was a bit soft. Pickford I don't like and I think he thinks HES A PROPER FUCKING HARD MAN.

Doing some graphics work for our schools library today. Advertising new books. They got a bunch of 'Ultimate football heroes' books in. You know, books about Aguero, Mess, Ronaldo and such.

Been looking for images online to use and found this...

I still think the video of him at the darts sums his whole attitude up.

Ancelotti gets appointed and you think you would be chuffed to be working alongside a world class Manager. Get your head down and prove yourself to him, learn from the best and try to improve.

Instead, he is downing pints (albeit in about 15 seconds  :D) at the darts acting the big man.

It is important you surround yourself with strong people as a top athlete but can imagine he has people massaging his huge ego.

No, jazz. You fear jazz. You fear the lack of rules, the lack of boundaries. Oh look, it's a fence. But, no, it's soft.

In fairness to Keane, he's normally fairly spot on pundit wise

I've been saying it for years, it genuinely staggers me that Pickford is England's number 1

He's dreadful

Me too, I was talking to a manc and bitter the other week and taking the piss out of him after he dropped yet another bollock against Newcastle. They were both defending him as 'England's number 1' and initially I was beginning to argue otherwise, until it suddenly occured to me, what would I do if they dropped him, I'd miss out on all the joy and entertainment that he provides. I bit my tongue and started agreeing with them talking up his merits, I did comment about how consistent he's been, couldn't resist!

The ball was just a couple of feet away to his right at a good height and was struck from 20-25 yards away. How does a professional keeper not be able to save that.

Not long before he dropped the clanger for the goal, he came for a cross or a corner and claimed a very simple ball in the air. He then goaded the United player next to him, or gestured to the crowd to gee them up, by sticking his tongue out like a fucking child to celebrate what he'd just done.
