I've just had a look at the ACS for FA cup and League cup.  Both the adult child areas have changed.  Why do they do this now I've got upper anny road for the league cup.  Really annoying when there are other alternatives.

Only 438 tickets on the ACS for CL online - Mainly in blocks U9 and U1 at the top of the main stand.

Think im gonna take the plunge and try and get a couple on Thursday but it's probably going to be a mad scramble for them. Dont really like the idea of having to sign up when I don't know what the cost is going to be. I've always stood on the KOP and I know what the prices should 'generally' be so I can budget, but if the main stand is gonna be £60-70 a ticket, then it would really make me think twice on getting them

Cant see there being many in the sales before the game and I very much doubt there will be any on the KOP so I think i'm gonna have to take the hit this year and see what this new main stand's like.
We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

Yeah, I paid £55 in the main stand for Basel game - and that was at the sides, at Kop end! Think central tickets were £59.

So I'd imagine similar prices this time round!

It'll be higher I'd think as those prices reflect standard main stand prices now really

I'd be surprised if there wasn't a £70 seat sadly

Eye watering really. Makes me appreciate being in the 300's on the Kop that bit more. I think the estimate of a £70 ticket might not be far off!

Will take my chances in the main sales. Hope I don't live to regret the decision!

Maybe once we get in a new signing they will hit us with it. Strange that they are still dithering on this. The members sale announcement took long enough, but they may just surprise us with reasonable prices after the new supporter groups structure. I'm hoping that is the case as my bank balance is gonna get hit hard with members sale and autocup. Cannot wait for season to start

Europe will depend on which competition we play in.
Domestic will be similar to previous seasons but even that will be dependent on the draw nearer the time.

looking at the hospitality prices the qualifier will be a fair bit less than the PL

Usually those prices are maximum prices as well. We couldn't get 300's for FA Cup, but at least we'll save a fiver if it's United at home, swings and roundabouts.

Or maybe not........

All prices are a guide and we will endeavour not to go over the prices stated above.

So basically the prices they have listed mean nothing. If we do draw Man Utd, they could potentially charge higher, and they also don't state that those are maximum prices. Given the volume of people in the ACS, they may well charge that for all games.

That's a fair assessment mate and well spotted but based on previous seasons I'm sure the prices they have charged have come in below the figures that are stated there sometimes.

Here is the image from last season

--League Cup--
Tottenham expected price £42. Actual price £27
Leeds expected price £27. Actual price £27
Southampton expected price £42. Actual price £32

--FA Cup--
Plymouth expected price £15. Actual price £14
Wolves expected price £25. Actual price £25

There's an argument that they have to reduce the League Cup ones in order to sell the ground out I guess and that none of the above are the top tier levels of opposition but the semi final was nicely cheaper than expected. After the ticket protest they didn't bump United up massively in the Europa league either. And yes, accepted the wording does appear to give them wriggle room if we get Everton/United to raise the prices but I just think that we're more likely to see prices come in under the ones listed than above if that makes sense mate.

I have 5/7 credits for CL but didn't get ACS because I fancied my chances getting a better seat in the later sale rather than being in U1 or U9. Have I made a big mistake or do you think I will have a decent chance of getting tickets in later sales?

There will be loads of failed ACS payments.
But I can see the first sale start at 3 matches as there was a very limited amount of tickets available for members with 3 to join ACS.

fair do's

think its bollocks myself though.

People who a) don't want to sign up to automated debits at the whim of the club b) weren't prepared to sign up before prices were known and c) may have switched off from football for the summer are going to be shafted here if they aren't quick and on the ball

Maybe an increase stadium capacity will change the TO approach this time round - who knows!

Anyway, good luck to those who have the credits be it 7 or 3!

Well the issue isn't the members ACS. The issue that need to be addressed is that STH without any previous history can join the ACS.
