It’s rather nice. I liked the Finland kit today too.

There’s a lot of rubbish ones, but a few stand-outs.

Yeah mentioned it earlier but that Finland away kit is a beauty. With the dark  blue cross across the shoulders.

Yeah look the most club football-like.

Maybe not a massive surprise given they've got the most successful club manager at the tournament (I think)

nothing to do with it for me, for me it's the hype and the arrogance displayed in the media about how great England are and the banging on about 1966, if they won again you wouldn't hear the end of it. Hendo aside, I detest the rest of the English squad, in particular their goalkeeper
Hendo deserves a medal for being anywhere near that c*nt and not stamping on his stupid face after what he did to Virgil.

Can you imagine if they'd played like this when they had the likes of Baggio, Del piero etc in the 90's? Heck even in the 00's the play would be great as well.

Do you think Italian footballers are coached to pull shirts from a young age? It seems endemic in the Italian game.

Sassuolo have some top talent to hand. Them and Atalanta are really shaking up Italian football. Think it’s actually seeped into Italian football as a whole because they’ve realised there’s another way to play and actually it’s necessary to evolve to keep up.

Always hearing about Archie Gemmill too ;)

That's just how the cards are stacked for all UK countries. International football is shit, UK football coverage is pathetic unless they sneak a non Brit in as a pundit, and all four countries have achieved little of note in a lifetime.

Original thought isn't something we'll get from lowest common denominator bollocks we're forced to watch.
yep agree with that, it was a great goal but Scotland still got knocked out despite of it! In Wales we had to suffer a programme dedicated to the Euro 2016 run. I get we did well to get that far but at the end of the day we didn't even make the final! It also reminded me that they actually held an open top bus parade around Cardiff. We don't even do that for the rugby!

The pundits are pretty bland this time around, BBC worse than ITV too. Shocking standard
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

italy look really good but for fuck sake, the swiss lack any fucking ambition at all, no urgency in their game, no impetus, just piss fucking poor

they play the second half like that they go home fucking embarassing for their effort, many teams will go home cos they're not good enough but most of those teams will have at least tried

It's refreshing to see an Italian national side that are actually watchable

They've had a decent run at the Euros recently performance wise. 2012 under Prandelli they were a good watch before losing to Spain in the final (played England off the park in the quarters) and 2016 under Conte they were the best performing side there overall but had brutal draws and went out on pens.

This is similar to those teams.

You always know what you're going to get with Switzerland. It's like Roy Hodgson never left them.

They'll scrape out the group and then play out a dire game in the last 16 before losing 1-0 after extra time.

I don't really have that much of an issue with the media giving England all the coverage. It's just the way it will be when they have 85% of the people.

Just another reason to have our own independent media though.

For years we have had England games shown for free on STV while Scotland games are on pay TV because it isn't worth the terrestrial UK media buying the rights.

No no, I’m with you. They have played very well thus far but the hype is already sneaking in.

The fact they're a good watch is true, even if they go out next round.

Not sure they've got enough quality wise going forward to go all the way, or defensively against the better sides (when one actually tries to attack them) and Chiellini injured now possibly. Similar with Holland really.

In terms of quality, France are clearly the best but do play within themselves. England have got reams of quality as well but a questionable manager.  It's not a very high bar. In 2012 they reached the final without being a vintage team, but Spain had far too much for them in the final. There's no international team at that level anymore.
