did you bother reading the fact the 3 twats waited outside for him and then followed him to his car before they got a good kicking

if it was unprovoked then fair enough he deserved all he got but ive seen stories of people doing far worse and getting less time just look at the story of people doing the same to PhiLFC#1's mate and getting away with it

for example barton got 6 months for beating the living daylights out of guys including a 16 year old and he was on bail at the time for hitting a team mate

At the most  a years suspended sentence. Being a footballer is a major help, but even the man on the street wouldn't be in danger of going inside for what he did if its a first offense.

the other side of the story I heard was that Etuhu tried to walk away from an earlier brawl inside the club and this guys and his mates banged on the windows of his car as he tried to drive away etc and he lost it after being abused all night, I agree with him flooring the guy but he kicked while he was down and out and that is wrong and I think that's where the longer jail time comes from, if someone is KO you should walk away, people who kick heads in etc when a person is on the floor are sick.
