Most probably been covered in the pages before, but i do wonder how many of us paid the £5.00 and will never get a season ticket? I did for the misses and me and realistically don't think we will ever get a season ticket. Luckily for us, we have been going home away and abroad for many years now and don't find it too difficult to get our tickets (through the club).
On the flip side of my question the older we are getting the less likely we will be of going to football (lets be honest, age and time does change the things you tend to do in life!) $:-\$

So if we decided to come off the list will we get a refund

Nah, pretty sure the letters said years ago non-refundable

I got told last year that the list will only be updated once a year in August.

Been on the list about 14 years now and still only at 4554 - pay on the gate as a kid convinced me I'd never need a seasie

My great grandkids should be able to accept the ticket once its offered.

As for the fiver, Ayre spent that on a Harley Bad Ass Bandana

I've accepted that by the time I get mine, I'll pass it straight on to my son (now 4 years old)

In our 50s now and still go to as much footie as we have ever done. Its simply a massive part of our lives.

I'm glad I finally got my arse into gear in time. When they brought the fan cards out (06 I think it was?), everyone ticked the season ticket waiting list box and the the list went boom. I'd been using someone else's seasie for about 3 years, did most homes and a few aways and just thought sod it, put my name down for my own.

Last year it was updated around mid-late August, as was the year before that, and the year before that too...

though this is the Ticket Office we are talking about here... so around April 2023

Same time as me, yet people on here were posting lower positions than me despite joining the waiting list after me!

Wasn't sure if it was a wind up so never followed it up.

Was someone absolutely ages ago said when they moved the list over a lot were misplaced and he took the letter confirming that he was on the list and they sorted out the position. I started off at like 25,500 when they moved to this new system. I know when I signed up cos it was when I got the fancard at the window buying a Monaco ticket.

A few people on the STWL will be that age too when they get offered a ticket.

The DWP will still be finding us all fit for work as well.

I've just had a phonecall from the club wanting to confirm they have the right address for me with regards to the season ticket waiting list. I wonder is there movement on the anfield road extension and they're sending out letters to see who is still interested in taking up an ST once its complete.

Not sure mate, I think somewhere around 6,000 ish. I've lost the reference for logging in to check. I was gonna ask the girl on the phone but I got cut off.

Certainly needs doing from a personal perspective and that alone would make a huge difference to the waiting list as plenty on it will already have one

It must be safe to assume that a lot of the people who are on the list are regular match goers? so if these people do start getting season tickets as a result of any amnesty there would be more members tickets available also.

I first applied for an adult child season ticket ticket in 2006. Next season my lad will be 17 and getting adult tickets. I often wonder what happens to the adult child tickets as the child becomes an adult. I know they get offered 2 adults but is it in a different part of the ground. How many child season ticket holders can there be??

An amnesty would never take place. There would be legitimate reasons for handing over to relatives, friends etc - but there will be also be a considerable part that will be unofficially auctioned away to the highest bidder. It would be a substantial amount of money that is indirect ticket revenue but not through the club, and the club won't sit and watch that.

I had a phone call mid January or so from the ticket office just checking my details etc, didnt think much of it. Had a letter Friday last week advising me that I may get one this pre season, I was position 247 or something on the list. Has anybody else been contacted?

Good news for you mate although why would they send a letter saying you might get one - surely it's only to actually offer you one!

They won't know how many won't renew yet and hence how many new ones they can offer, so prob just checking the top x on the list based on how many new ones they usually give out?? I would guess. To save time later and so your offer letter doesn't go stray
