The Code of Conduct doesn't itself actually tell you to download the NHS track & trace app which is a little odd but I guess 'manually' they can tell you if someone nearby is infected probably to a lot better accuracy than the current app.

I think this gives you a right to buy a ticket, not a ticket so if you're successful you log in and buy one as opposed to it being automatic.

Sounds good the way they are doing it - once you are successful, you can't be successful again until all those that weren't (And applied, obviously) have managed to get a ticket

I think you are. It is the Liverpool City Region which includes Sefton.

We qualify in the respect that we’ve got 19 games from 2018/2019, but we live just outside the Liverpool City region boundary by less than a mile, although are still in tier 2, so don’t actually quality to apply this time around.

We’ve just received an emails from the club telling us that we’re both eligible to enter. I’ve logged into my online account and the ballot is there and active. Not entered it, but there’s clearly some sort of error occurred judging by that. Anyone else in a similar position?

I click on Tickets and it gives me a page with ballots, click general admission then you ca choose adult ballot or adult&child ballot.

Had 19/19 on a membership for years but dropped to 17/19 in that season due to missing out on the cat c games.  Still went but not officially so looks like I’ll be locked out for the foreseeable unless they drop the criteria as numbers allowed to attend increase.

Be interested to see the numbers who qualify.

Yes. They'll need to be able to qualify for the ballot themselves.

I’ve not entered out of the principal of it, regardless of how close we are to the Liverpool City region boundary and being in the same tier 2, but surely if people are successful outside of the boundary the ticket will become invalid once the relevant checks have been made?

It’s a pretty serious situation and if they’re going to come up with restrictions on who can or can’t apply for tickets, then you’d think they’d be doing their utmost to get the process right.

I decided to swerve it with the can't enter further ballot ruling if successful, and am probably gonna leave entering one until Utd in January as we could well be allowed a lot more into the ground by then and that'd probably be at least around 5,000 less out of the hat. Rather be on the Kop with my flags too.

The quite real possibility of tier 3 persuaded me not to enter, though there's probably a good chance I will enter in early 2021 if we're allowed in.

There's every chance Wolves and Spurs are the only ones we can go to all season. I don't think they will be, but there's the chance as I say. If you told me now they'd be my only chance of going to one until summer 2021 I'd honestly rather wait.

Ideally, we'll go no lower than tier 2, and we'll be allowed 2000 or 4000 into the new year, gradually building to more perhaps. It all comes down to how you feel in the moment, so I'll take it as it comes, but the next time I'm in the ground I hope it's minimum 4000, even if it might not make a world of difference from the current 2000 allowed

Me too, I expected at least 10 thousands. I suppose some of the eligible members/sths prefer to apply for Spurs game, but I don't really know.

How many season tickets have been ruled out due to fan update though? As far as I reckon, the club's yet to inform us about it

I expected more too but there are a lot if locals who are quite elderly so maybe haven't taken the risk*.  I have unanswered questions myself. Good the Kop will be open too

*as they see it or rely on others for a lift etc
