Did have Liverpool - Malaga booked then the train was mega expensive from Malaga to Madrid.
So instead doing Birmingham - Palma - Madrid - Barca- Birmingham
There was an okay flight back from Madrid- Palma- Liverpool too...

Royal Mail SD email received, tickets are due to arrive tomorrow.

I have someone else’s ticket with the same surname. What checks if any will take place? Are names printed on tickets these days ?
there was no name on my Porto ticket, should be fine I'd think

For Porto I received two tickets, one of them had my name printed on it. I’m quite sure they checked both tickets but can’t remember if they confirmed the name was the same as in the passport.

Trains are usually anywhere between £40-100 one way.. I use the Trainline app for bookings. But if you already booked new flights I guess this info is kinda useless to you now :/

A thirty minute queue in the cold to then be handed a paper match ticket.

Thanks A, for confirming - not had any email yet myself though. But, I was away overnight and only got back about an hour ago - just hope they haven't just tried to deliver this morning. SD is to sign for isn't it ?

Mate ordered 3 for me in the first sale, got DHL tracking number(overseas to Ireland) it says on the link delivered since yesterday but he hasn't received the tickets, he rang up DHL and explained the story and the basically said the tickets were put in the letterbox and that's that.
Anyone any idea what i can do now? Will the club help out with dupes even though I know they're not allowed for Euro aways, would log on and buy the 3 now under my own membership but the game has been taken down from the online sales.

No worries. They do need to hand them to you as in Covid times you don't sign for them but they can't just stick them in your letterbox.

Ah, yes that's right, no signing but they have to see you've received it. I've not had any red card through the door saying they 'missed me', so must be tomorrow now. Did you receive yours today then ?

Edit - ha, sorry A, just seen your post in the other thread ! That's sound.

Just realised I´ll be in Malaga this coming week, so now debating on taking the train solo up to Madrid to watch this. Did we sell our whole lot, or are there away tickets left? And how frowned upon is it to be seated in the home section (close to our blocks though)?

lfc tickets aren't on sale, you'd be fine in the home end if you keep a low profile I assume

I’m from Liverpool and flying to Barcelona on Monday from Liverpool…

I haven’t been able to collect my ticket yet from the club and I can’t get in contact with them, does anyone know what will happen? I would happily collect from Anfield on Monday or Madrid on Wednesday …

Tourists attend football games all the time. I've been to an Atletico home CL game (against Roma I think it was) and it's fine. Was a lot of tourists there you just blend in - just don't celebrate when we score!

They usually take any uncollected ones with them, then contact you to arrange a pick up.
I'd also not collect in Madrid on Wednesday, as our game is on Tuesday.  ;D

As expected, you will get your vaccination certificate and Spanish Immigration form checked at the airport. Also, remember that Spain insists on mask wearing in airports and on the metro.

And they are fucking spot on. England's mask mandate is utterly baffling and negligent.

Yes, mate. Spot on. I am surprised that they let us in. We have the worst infection and death rates in Europe again. And all the kudos our government tries to get for the vaccination rates, well, all of Western Europe has overtaken our rates.

Anyway, don’t get me started on that  >:(

Any location for drinks after the game? Plaza Mayor?
