I use VPN tunnel that Dave5516 recommended on here years ago . Never had a probelm with it , but you do have to pay a fee . Whatever happened to Dave ?

Opera vpn works ok but did seem to slow browsing. It wont hide your torrent client though

Had no issues with it and to be honest, I don't need to hide my IP on every site I go to. Makes life so much easier on Torrent sites......for me anyway.

I'm not really hacking into GHQ, just downloading the odd film and some new frock and fasinator designs.

Luddite's are us, I guess.

I'd get a vpn for torrents mate, one that allows port forwarding. Opera vpn will hide your browsing but your ip address will be visible on your client to everyone.

Started using my VPN and now I'm getting emails about "unusual activity" from Microsoft.  I used a verification code that they sent me so hopefully they'll leave me alone now.  Still, it's a weird feeling.

Pretty sure that it has an iPlayer specific server so try that.

If it doesn't then sign up for Digibit,it's only £2pm and you pay monthly (paypal option as well),they definitely have the iPlayer specific server.

Thanks, but every time I try to download the app from the site I get it’s not available in my location.
Now I know Yorkshire is a bit backward but I don’t know why it won’t let me

Hi all, I've got a vpn so I can watch the terrestrial channels abroad, only problem is that itv don't let you cast to your TV for live programmes. Anyone know if there's a way round it? Usually if I right click on the video itself rather than cast the tab, just the video casts. At the moment it will only cast the whole tab which makes it very laggy. Any help appreciated!

How did you do the payment for DAZN? From what I remember when I tried to do mine, it wouldn't go through as no Canadian billing address.

I signed up via the Spanish DAZN as I'd read online it was easier to go through the Spanish or German one and I think its cheaper than Canada. I did it on my phone via google pay and paypal which is linked to my UK bank account and it went through ok. I use expressVPN and just set the VPN to Canada and log in on the Canadian site using the same login details I registered on the Spanish site.

It works perfectly, no buffering and is usually only about 20-30 seconds behind live action. I can put up with that as it means I get the 3pm games and anything on BT Sport, which I don't subscribe to.

Im using torguard. It gives two dedicated ips when you choose the streaming package. One for America and one for uk. Have not had a problem yet. Downside is it is a bit more expensive even when the 50% discount Is applied.

Have you got a link to the guide you found? i'd be interested in looking into this when sport starts up again

Express and Pure. Performance wise express is better but purevpn has more server location.

Never used a VPN and downloaded loads of stuff, I think the ISP might ban you but I couldnt care less about them or anyone else. How would they prove who it was especially in a multi occupancy dwelling ? I already have my excuse - I am blaming my wife. Same with the streams for footy.

They've been chasing it for years. Depends if you're bothered about a letter from your ISP I guess

Exactly, a while back they busted a setup in Salford that was selling subscriptions for live sport, movies etc. that is a known calculated risk, I dont think they are that arsed about individuals, it is also a nightmare to prove who is doing it within the house. If I ever got caught and convicted it would be a fine so all the money I've saved from not paying for a VPN (and sport/movies) can pay the fine. Got better things to worry about even before the whole virus situation.
