Oh I know they're releasing it bit by bit, I just don't understand why.
Assume to keep the show trending a bit more. Releasing it all in a day only allows a week or so of interest.

I've seen no complaints on Twitter about the changes a lot of people shocked by the last scene in the 3rd one I think a lot of people liked her then suddenly the reveal.

I'm not to sure if they have changed her much apart from her sex of course she still seems to be a Nazi if you look closely her belt buckle is the Nazi Eagle, and she seems to be wearing dagger SS earrings and I bet there is something on her arm clasps

Yeah I think her not being a full blown racist can be put to bed after Ep3.

I'm hoping we get to see inside the place she lays her head, maybe Homeland breaks in for a sniff  ;D

They sold us on the binge, and then took it away. I hope it's because of covid for whatever reason and not a permanent change.

Loved the latest one.

The thing they are managing here is the characters. Most super hero films are about explosions and fights and bollocks.

This really makes you care.

I even care about Homelander. Totally relate to him (Though massively disagree with his shit)

That batshit crazy dickhead woman as well :lmao

One of the main reasons is money, A Netflix exec said a few months ago they may start doing similar with big shows because people will subscribe mainly for that one show then watch it and not renew the following month. This way they drag it out and probably get a person to subscribe for 2 months instead of just the one.

People crying about them releasing an episode each week.

How old are you? Fucking 10?

:lmao

I'm loving the slow release idea - takes you back to when you used to watch stuff and looked forward to new episodes.

The modern viewer really does seem like an impatient gobshite thesedays.

Don't want to wait? Wait for them to finish all the releases and then watch them all and stop crying.

They did the same with Better Call Saul and it set up a TV night for me and the missus and we loved it - loving this too - not often thesedays you get to savour and enjoy the expectation of the next episode and look forward to it. I hope they carry it on with other things.

Really is incredible the attention span and the NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW (Stamps feet) NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW (Cries) NOW NOW NOW demand of the Karens.

He needs more scenes with Stormfront. The actress playing her is brilliant. Sassy with just the right amount of sexyness to her. That look she gave Homeland when he went off the rails at her made me laugh out loud. And that scene with Homelander where
Spoiler
he's with Doppelganger posing as Stillwell in the cabin was just creepy as fuck. Especially when he turned into Homelander and I thought he was going to suck him off.
[close]
A scene like that would have happened in the comic, but here the writers know when to reign it in with the whatthefuckery.

I wonder when Terror is going to show up. He was in the trailers.

Reverse your comments for a moment though, there would be nothing stopping them from releasing it all at once and you still watching an episode a week, the crucial difference being that in that scenario both single ep fans and bingers would be catered too.

It certainly doesn't seemed to have got people talking more about the show more, other than articles mentioning people review-bombing the show over the decision.

While, there is nothing inherently wrong with releasing an ep a week with a show, it is clearly the switch of schedule from S1 to S2 that has annoyed many people. The only show that has been an ep a week from the outset that has annoyed me was the mandalorian, that was because the UK got it months later and they still insisted on sticking to the weekly schedule.

It's just too good. I intended to watch the Umbrella Corp one at a time and savour it and when you're a couple in, you end up binging the lot.

Especially in these times when you're stuck in the house most of the time.

I would think a lot of it is age difference. When I was a kid, there were three channels and you had to always wait a week (or more!) between episodes on most series. And that was the thing then - everyone watched the same thing - everyone waited - there were no spoilers and no way to spoil.

Wonderful times.

Still loving this single release - something to look forward to every Friday and in these times being able to look forward to anything is brilliant for me.

They both went in high, that's factually correct, both tried to play the ball at height.  Doku with his foot, Mac Allister with his chest.

The most unrealistic thing about this show is that a twentysomething bloke would listen to Billy Joel. Superheroes created by a nefarious corporation I'm totally on board with. But Billy Joel stretches credulity beyond breaking point.

I laughed my arse off at Doppelganger offering to suck Homelander off and Homelander seriously considering it. Antony Starr is doing fantastic work here, just like he did in Banshee.

Fucking hell the latest episode is all kinds of fucked up. I can’t stand Stormfront.
