Booked the Eurostar for £72 one night return. Also booked a flight from liverpool to close enough to Belgrade for £18. Flight back to Liverpool booked from a different place close to Belgrade for £20. Both places in driving distance if I can't find trains. Made up. Two trips for £110 plus odds once there.

ffs I thought I done good on Belgrade but nothing like those prices

Looking like we’re going to have to get a private transfer (pre booked taxi from what I can tell) from Sofia for £50 each as no coaches, train takes too long and car hire prices daft. Private transfer takes four and a half hours.

We’re back from Budapest and train to there from Belgrade is €15. Still around a oner with one night in each of Sofia, Belgrade, and Budapest. Happy with that.

Bit late for you but the advance fares for Euston aren’t showing on any trains on 28th. They can’t have all sold out so I’m hoping cheap fares will come up between now and then.

Advance fares 12 weeks before.

City got 2400 last season for PSG away. 2800 for Napoli as well.

Anyone know what red star give? I know it's 5% but is it more or less than that

Arsenal got 1500 at £10 each last season in Europa League, It,s 55k seater stadium so they will likely give us the minimum 5% as I imagine the whole of Serbia will want to go

If you can get to Stafford, they have 2 seperate services run to London rather than just the virgin one from Lime Street. The second one takes you on a tour of the arse end of nowhere but it'll get you to London!!

We looked at those places and Zagreb and just couldn't find anything other than private car.
Ended up going via Eindhoven Sun-Wed. Sunday night in Eindhoven. £115 for flights in total.

If it had been the Wednesday I had direct flights from Luton lined up for £50 return. although shitty time outbound.

Just booked Napoli.

Manchester to Bologna £70 return Tuesday to Thursday (including the extra £6 each way for hand luggage that Ryanair has introduced).

Business class trains (only a couple of quid extra) from Bologna to Naples out Wednesday return Thursday for £61.

Made up with that.

All three have been remarkably cheap this time around. £231 on travel for three trips. Can't grumble.

I'm on the minge bag trains for Spurs. £30 return with a railcard splitting at Stafford. Its got better though. Used to take 4 and a half hours. Less than three and a half now.

For this though I'll just wait for the advance virgin fares.

£300 - £400 would be my guess

My heads gone with work, are we getting any tickets to group stages with:

Moscow, Porto + Roma ?

Lovely cheap Eurostar hotel and train packages still going.

What's the likelihood of getting an exchange ticket before I book, do any tend to go up for Euro aways?

I’d say very unlikely for PSG due to the distance and opposition! I might be wrong though?

There won't be an exchange because its Europe. They're for domestic games only.

Was hoping there would be a way of getting a spare via exchange on here, with accom and flights sorted I need to be proactive in looking for tickets.

I think it might be a too far in the future thing.

If you look at Flixbus, there are coaches both ways until 1 November.

I'm hoping the availability for the first week in November will be up next week.

Seat 61 says there are trains but nothing listed on De Bahn.

If you're in Budapest Monday evening you can get the sleeper train at 22.15.

You can book here: https://www.mavcsoport.hu/en (Belgrade is Beograd)

You can get a day train back to Budapest on the Wednesday at 11.20 am taking 8 hours 44 mins but you can't book on that site (I presume because the journey starts in Serbia). But you should be sound buying at the station on the day.

Try doing the whole thing via germany or Holland. We're going from manc via Amsterdam on the way there and Berlin on the way back. £120 all in

Few lads saying PSG will be iffy with tickets as they will require ID along with match ticket ?? Anyone heard previously about games in France and ID issues at the grounds of ID doesn’t match tickets.

I don't know for PSG, but I'm expecting Napoli will be the same as Roma was. I saw people get turned away at Rome. (Some say they got in later after but I doubt they all did).

Paris is massive, but the metro is decent and as long as you're near one it doesn't matter much. Not like one of them smaller places with an obvious square - likely to not see many reds wandering about I think for this as too widespread. All the hotels in Paris are expensive, and pricey.

All 3 will be moody places. Been to the Belgrade derby two years ago great city but mayhem in the ground, keep your wits there Liverpool have some personal friends at Partizan and CSKA who red star despise. Great to have some decent trips instead, 6 years of doing them aways in the arse end of Europe is worth it for draws like this.
