Well mixed with the alcohol & the substance he smoked he totally lost the plot, pissed off & left me on me own... (which was kind of a blessing as I was glad to see the arse part of him)! I had to get a taxi to Camp Nou, had no idea if he was there or not, he demolished the contents of the mini bar for which I got slammed with a bill for 88 Euro. Eventually found him at the match only after sending a several texts, the last of which said I was under attack and my life was in danger (had to resort to this as me Mum was hairless thinking he would be in a spanish jail).

He said in the case for the defence "I don't know what happened to me, I haven't smoked the whacky in years and whatever that lad gave me earlier sent me sparko"!

So yes I am a sly arse and no he is not going with me, imagine the shit he would smoke over there, no thank you. I want to enjoy meself not babysit!!

Will we have enough time to check into the hotel and get to Eindohoven in time to get some beers in before the game?

Flying to the Dam is fine and dead easy. I done it for the group stage and am doing it this time. Think its about 17 euro and takes about an hour and a half.

Yes.  Direct and indirect ( via Utrecht) trians go from Schiphol.  1: 28 for the fast one, about 1: 40 for the indirect. 

Unless there is a track fire on the way back and you get stuck and miss your flight ( if it hadn't already been delayed).

Plenty to do...  especially if theres a decent crowd present.  Good Italian meal, few beers,  nice.   And a truly purpose-built main square for footie fans.  Wonder if the carousel is still there?
