That was a lot closer than it should have been for the Pats.

Two missed field goals is the reason for that, otherwise the defense did an ok job.

I'm no pats fan by any means but it's a joke that a situation where a player deliberately goes to make contact with the helmet results in him walking away fine and the other player having his season ended.

There is a lot of absurdness in this game. I agree

That was what I was getting at. I thought the d played well after giving up that td run.

Looks like a majority of the Texans took a knee.

The defense has improved vastlly in the last couple of weeks. We go into the bye, 6-2, some time to recover, and hopefully get a win in Denver as they are shite currently.

I think 6-2 is definitely something better than I expected going into the bye week as I had us at 5-3 (before the falcons game) but the defense really improved last week and whilst it is a big worry still a two week break should give them a chance to regroup.

The Eagles look very very good. Scarily good. But have they had any real tough tests yet?

They had a good win against a decent Panthers but you certainly could argue they've also lost to the only good team they've played.

They're playing good ball though in fairness.

Broncos, Cowboys and Seahawks in the next few weeks should tell us more. I do have a few quid on them at 30/1 so hopefully they're legit.

Unbelievable that the Seattle defense gave up 38 points.

Even more unbelievable that there offense managed to put 41 on the board.

Raiders defensive backs suck...stop me if you've heard me before...but if the offense keeps going three and out/turning the ball over you have to feel a bit sorry for them. I turned the game off after the third turnover. I love Jalen Richard but he has to be relieved of PR duties, two muffed punts in two games and he still got to go back for the next one?!? No thanks.

The OC has to be questioned for his play calling, even Ice-T was calling him out for his fascination with the screen plays. Everyone knows we play better running downhill and throwing it medium/deep.

Greg Papa said on twitter that questions have to be asked about D.Carr`s lack of production in cold/wet weather situations.

This was one game where Lynch would have been useful, but the league in it`s infinite wisdom added an extra games suspension for his brutal assault on the ref.

Season over IMHO, will be very lucky to make 8-8.

From Schefter:

Vascular surgeons are trying to save Bears TE Zach Miller's leg, not just his career, per @mortreport.

Artery damage to his leg as well as triple ligament tear. Sounds horrific.

At least the London game was competitive until the mid 4th quarter, than the previous 3 blowout London games, can see the Browns going 0-16, could well be 2, 0-16 teams this season with 49ers being bad.

I hope he recovers.

I think the Pats might regret this for two reasons: 1. Big drop in handsomeness now that Handsome Jimmy has left the building, and 2. Do they really expect Brady to get through 8 games + playoffs and 2018 season completely unscathed?  I know he drinks magical water and shit, but come on?

Simon Clancy saying the Fins want to trade Jarvis Landry too.  Their offense, which was trash, now got even trashier.

@RapSheet
Not trade deadline, but… #Broncos are mulling a QB change & could hand the ball to Brock Osweiler. Paxton Lynch has only practiced 3 times.
