Not having a go, but please mate.....it's "Are you all ready?"

No worries mate. Hard House and similar stuff is not really my thing to be fair. Can only stand it for about 20 mins before my ears bleed. ;)

More into the progressive areas :)

Well, still shoulda known better I guess :-\ Not as if I didnt spend enough time at Exodus parties and also going to Trinity!

Used to love Trinity, at the Chunnel Club in Vauxhall. De Vit played there a couple of times in its fledging years  I think and it was renowned as being one of the best underground clubs in the Big Smoke. Dunno if you know of it? 2 rooms (though later went to 3), one with crap Sparage music with the "Dream Team" and the other room a hot and sweaty hard house / trance room where the sweat literally dripped off the roof :D Bizarre mix, but I used to love heading back to the Garage room for 15 mins just to cool down!

Went back there last summer to see if it was still open, but its turned into a poncy club now. Cloud Nine down the road seems to have closed as well.

As I mentioned, have always been a prog house man meself, but still had some great nights at some good hard house clubs in London.

There's a few others that I cant remember including one that starting with a manc voice saying ".... watch yer base bins I'm tellin yer."

That was Altern8 - Infiltrate 202 and the remix said "I've got astrix in space, watch yeh bass bins i'm tellin yeh. Not Bass bins brain cells! It's had a remix!"

Only messing mate ;) Some of that Altern8 stuff was really cheesy though!!!

Out of interest, have you ever got into any of Mauro Picottos stuff? He's an Italian DJ/Producers who's been making some pretty good hard house stuff for the last decade. He's had some commercial success with some of his stuff, but he also makes some real hardcore stuff thats a nice throwback to days gone by 8)

I agree they where cheesy but so was most of the early dance/rave stuff. Nowt wrong with a bit of cheese mate ;) :)

And yes i've heard of Mauro Picotto. I've got a few of his tunes Pulsar, Lizard, Prendi & Scappa and Baguette. I like that tech house/techno sound its all I listen to nowadays. DJ's like Dave Clarke, Green Velvet, Jeff Mills and Rush are my favourite.

Beat Of The Drum -La Luna

Aah! Voodoo at Le Bateau 94-95! That dirge of a tune "Born Slippy" and the Trainspotting film was the death knell of the scene.

BTW Anyone know the tune that went "the electron going into the neutron" or something?
