It seems that 3 years ago you were prevented from creating new topics in the main forum. Why, I don't know but I've messaged the mod what done it.

You're right, there's nothing obvious as to why and it was three years ago, so crack on fella, see where it goes. I've removed the block on your profile after the other mod's approval too.
