Thought he was decent, but he’s very sloppy with his passing at times isn’t he? 67% of his passes completed?

It’s called audacity.

It’s high risk.

It wins us games.

I have immense love for VVD but there is something about this mad bastard that I love, he really is special.

Samurai Bobby is still my fav Bobby though and fav moment is still that turn where he left Roberto Soldado down the shops against Villareal.

There's a club singing a version of Rotterdam the last few weeks too, someone like Brighton I think.

Bobby was unbelievable in defence tonight. There was a header towards the end from a set piece where we were 3-1 up which I thought looked a world class clearance. Assumed it was VVD, but no, it was Bobby back there.

the one in the second where Mane fires the ball at him and he seems to control it and lob westerwald at the same time then get a shot away that was blocked. Wouldn't be surprised if he meant it too.

Agree. Hendo and Mo will get the plaudits - nothing wrong with that. But some of his ‘beneath the radar’ contributions were so good. Late in the second half, play was congested down our right flank, and he from nowhere pinged a pass to Robbo that was magnificent in its vision and execution.

He’s a player with incredible gifts - and industry.

The guy is a genius, there’s so much entertainment he gives that the cameras don’t catch. Just seen him celebrating immediately after his assist for Jordan, if you saw it too you would know what I mean.

He is on another level - we are are walking whilst he is running. We will never replace him.

Watch the replay of Salah's goal. Look at the max level sprint Bobby makes to be there as an aption for Mo. You've never seen a person run so hard in your life.

His work level is off the charts.

Mental player, don't think there's anyone in world football you could compare him to. What type of player even is he? I'm not sure there's an existing term for it so it'll have to become known as the Firmino role in future.

He's an absolute beast defending corners, too. Just a top, top class player, love him to bits.

His Shaqiri pose? ;D

And that was him playing while injured apparently, he is just unreal. And our second best defender after VVD.

Love his strength in challenging for every ball. Defenders are well aware of him now, but most still can’t cope. You just know he’s going to be coming for you, one way or another, the whole match.

Ask me who i'd be most gutted to lose from our front 3, and it's Bobby everytime for the reason you state above. There is nobody to replace his skillset, it's truly one-of-a-kind, and a style that I think will set trends as the football develops over the next few decades.

I work with Spurs fans and they think i'm bonkers when I say i'd rather Firmino than Kane. I do rate Kane, but ask yourself who you'd rather build the team around? No way Salah scored 40-odd goals without Bobby last season...
