Pieters, Slattery and Kruyswijk in the top ten after day 2, you certainly have me worried. Gerry has Horsfield in the top five, and olly has Glover, Matsuyama and Fowler in the top five in the PGA event, so I'm not ruling anyone out (especially as I'm heading for single digits at best).

If dudley hadn't picked the wrong Karlsson, he'd still be in with a chance, too.

Cheers, lads. "Owned" is a bit over the top, though . Got lucky with Pavan mid-way through the season and somehow hung on to the lead until the end.

In five of the previous seven seasons, 182 points wouldn't have even been enough for second place. In season 4, Flash finished fifth with 185 points.

Its ridiculous. Someone like Jason Kokrak for example could shoot the best score over the 4 days and highly likely not win the event or be even recognised for it.

All these guys are multi-millionaires and increasing the FedEx cup first prize from $10m to $15m is just obscene.  Like the very top footballers they want Trophies, medals and Silverware.

It also seems mad to base starting strokes only on ranking and not on actual points. The leader gets a two shot advantage whether he is ahead by a thousand points or a single point. This year, Cantlay is 38 points ahead of Koepka and gets a one shot advantage, while Rahm is 577 points ahead of Ancer and they both start on -4. Thomas is 633 points ahead of McIlroy and starts five shots clear, while McIlroy is over a thousand points ahead of Matsuyama and gets a two shot advantage. As you say, it's ridiculous.
