I certainly think we should if we can. You can tell he's playing through an injury or fatigue because he's not using his body as he does at his best.

Problem is Henderson may now be out and Klopp said Milner was also playing with a muscle issue. So we may well need one of Milner or Gini to give us one more push before the break alongside Lallana and Fabinho.

Was the perfect player to bring on at that time in the match though, and gave us some much needed control again after Chelsea started threatening.

He really controlled the game when we needed it most. Chelsea had had a few chances to score before he came on but he really calmed everything down and helped us cruise to victory.

Agree with all those saying he was an ideal sub. Played his role to perfection, and his intelligence was ideally timed.

Didn’t Notice the grimacing but believe from interviews a while back he’s been playing through/managing bad knee pain (not heard about back, but it’s possible it’s that instead/too). So maybe that’s what he was feeling today.

It's really encouraging that the players themselves are actually thinking about these things, rather than just letting the manager make all the changes they're tactically aware enough to know when to sort out their own routines.

I remember him scoring against Middlesbrough in 2016/17 in the last game of the season(which was a must win game for us to seal Top 4) & it was the opener from him. We went on to win it & get Top 4, which got us on our way to the Marathon run to last years CL final.

He does love it at this time of the year.
