League B:

Draft preferences?

Saturday or a Sunday, ideally in the afternoon UK time. Sunday 5pm ok? Later? Earlier? We can do it this Sunday or any after in August.

If that doesn't work, say a time that will so we can narrow it down.

I'm free around 5pm this Sunday

Getting married on the 31st August so pretty busy that weekend!

Best would be the weekend before for me.

How do we decide draft order?

It's randomised as you start the draft isn't it?

Can be. Or we can decide before and put it in place to help with planning.

Some leagues find fun ways to decide draft order to add to the competition.

We can do that weekend no problem.

I'll keep the draft randomized per NFL as opposed to me having to use randomizer.

The last game is Friday 30th August so could it possibly be done on either the weekend of 24/25th or 31st/1st? I'm not bothered about the time. Gives people a bit of time too.

Two would like this weekend, would that work for you?
Maybe the group, led by your leadership, will see these drafts as PR functions and brilliant use of humor

Is it worth setting up a group A and group B draft thread so we can discuss draft  in there so posts don’t overlap in here and get missed

Getting all 10 of us online at the same time is going to be challenging

Its up to the majority. The quickest we can go is 45 seconds, the longest is 5 minutes.

For me, 45 seconds is too quick, even 1 minute is still too quick, 2 to 3 minutes is about perfect, you have time then to look for alternatives if your pick has been drafted by someone else. The rounds should go a lot quicker than last year, were you could be waiting 15 to 20 minutes, before you drafted again.

IMO we should go for as close to the new season as possible.  There are bound to be injuries and holdouts in pre-season, and losing one of your star players for the season before week 1 would be a bit of a downer for anyone :D Plus you get to take a look at any rookies that emerge in pre-season, there are always one or two who come from nowhere and tear up the league.

Yeah having seen the Kearse injury and now AB has gone apeshit, I'm tempted to agree.

Agreed, but you have the situation with the bank holiday weekends, & few of us might be away, those of us in the UK[apart from Scotland]August bank holiday weekend is 24 to 26th, & Labour day holiday weekend a week later in thew US & Canada, but i'm fine with it, if everyone agrees to either of those weekends for the draft

Been doing some mock 10 man PPR drafts today.  Every player has a great write up for 2019 and endless draft stats and figures.

Now got my heart set on certain players and will inevitably be disappointed when others draft them :)
