The Guardian has picked out Leyton Stewart as their one to watch in their Next Generation 2019 list.

Previous years they went with Adam Phillips, Trent, Woodburn, Curtis Jones and Niall Brookwell.

Don't recognise the name Brookwell. Is he a current player in the younger age groups? Or a prospect that passed me by?

Hes playing for the u18s as a second year. Was injured/missing for a for quite a bit last season. Started the last few games for gerrard the season before that as an u16 which is probably what got him on the list

In the U18s, I think. Didn't recognise the name, but a quick Google shows a few pieces on him. Some of the good people who watch everything here might be able to help?

Best name in that list: the Watford player Sonny Blu Lo-Everton. Hope he makes it!

So, if a minor gets 14 days, I wonder what they will give Silva for his "joke"?

Big lesson for Elliott, he now has to learn that silly juvenile jokes shared on social media will get you in trouble these days. I'm pretty sure most of us have done the same in the past, it just wasn't caught on camera and is less acceptable now.

Wondered why I saw reference yesterday to him having withdrawn from Eng U17s, although the withdrawal might have been further back. So the clock on the 14 days would have already started before today.

Ban only covers domestic club football so not directly related.

Good to see Neco Williams in the first team training photos today. If Ki-Jana is away ata the U17 World Cup later this month when we play our next round of the league Cup, perhaps he’ll get a chance to give Trent a rest. or Gomez might play there.
