buzzing with Enrique signing at last

, not only does it strengthen the left side but it takes the pressure of the likes of Robinson and Flanagan, they can develop at the right pace without having to be thrown in the deep end.

the squad is really coming along now, im still worried about centre half though, with skrtel injured and agger made of glass i dont want to see carra and krygiakos having a run in the side together, we'd end up having to defend on the 6 yard line cuz of their chronic lack of pace

Really really happy with this. Enrique will help us immensely, and that left side is going to be breathtaking with the amount of pace him and Downing have.

If these rumblings about Cahill are true we could be a force to be reckoned with. It won't be easy playing against us.

Good stuff. This is the real problem position hopefully sorted. As others have said I would ideally like another CB but if that doesn't happen I won't be too gutted.

Debut against Arsenal, or perhaps on the bench on Satdee? I can't wait for the season to start now.

Doubt it. The transfer will likely not be completed until tomorrow at the earliest, which would probably be to late to register him for the game the following day. I imagine he'll be watching from the stands a la Raul and Konchesky against WBA last season

Evra was pretty poor last season by his standards. I thought Bardsley had a good season at Sunderland and then Enrique so that would probably be my 5 yeah.
