Some would say unlucky and others would say poor finishing. Only Mane and sturridge are really clinical in front of goal in our team. The rest seem to miss a lot of chances. That's nothing to do with luck.
I think it might have come to the point when we can't call Sturridge clinical anymore. He snatches at shots and rushes things in a way he never used to. As ever, he's very aware of what's around him, and whether he has space for a shot or needs to make space, but instead of being able to trust his body to hold people off or to move quicker than defenders, he snatches at shots more often than not.
Obviously there are still moments on class that look clinical, like the header against Arsenal and the movement and finish against West Ham at the end of last season. But just look at the chance Robertson gave him early in the Burnley game. A few years ago, when he was clinical, that'd gone in and you'd have known he was going to score it before his first touch even. But over the course of the last few seasons, I think I've seen that clinical past drifting away.
