Harry Wilson is fucking brilliant. Reminds me a lot of Harry Kewell (the Leeds version).

Twenty one in a few months though, and no game time for the senior team. Little odd.

Perfect hat trick from Wilson, just looks like a proper footballer, makes smart decisions, finishes well, great technique.  Get him in the first team squad.
Sit down, shock is better taken with bent knees.

No really, had injuries plus I feel we're handing him with care.

He is highly rated at the club. He is already an international. We don't need to rush him. He will get 1st game time soon enough.

One of the disadvantages of leaving the League Cup early is less opportunity for youngsters to get a game.

Doesn't need to displace them, just show that he's ready to provide competition and cover for them.

Some good play by Curtis Jones finds Woodburn who finds Brewster but he fires it into the side netting.

Starting to settle a bit now

Brilliant goal. Great crossfield ball finds Millar on the left, plays in Lewis who fires it in to the bottom corner

I think they're only in the game because we haven't been up to our usual standard of passing. If we can go up a couple gears, i'm not sure they could live with us, especially as they tire.

2-1. Second time they got in through radenko and this time they've scored. Nice finish

Just been a bit too open on occasions and dont seem to be reacting quick enough

Kane pushed up too far trying to win the ball and our defense had no cover

It's like watching a younger first team. Have all the possession, the chances etc. but are split wide open at the back by one pass and find ourselves 2-1 down.

It was given when a few of them got them for pushing and stuff in the box before we took a free kick. It's cost him now, valuable lesson learnt

Bit of a shame that. We had the better individual's but every time we got past the halfway line they were right in our faces, hardly no time on the ball. Bit open on the counter too. Still it's a good experience for Stevie and the young lads.

If there was one game that would be best to lose then it's that one. To lose any other game at this stage with a trip to Russia in ridiculous conditions still to come would be a bit shit.

Anyone seen or heard about this? Apparently Adekanye got some racial abuse during the under 19s game against Spartak and we've lodged a complaint. Hardly surprising unfortunately, given where the game took place, but still disgraceful. Hopefully this sort of shite gets stamped out soon.

I saw that. Totally disgusting, but hardly a surprise sadly, a shame he couldn't score just to shut the buggers up.
