Not sure if we've got an 'older places that have gone/changed in Liverpool' kind of thread..?
Anyway, I'll start the ball rolling with some places of yesteryear..
Secrets in Bootle/Seaforth - used to be off its head. Dancing girls, mad acts.. Great place!
The Kingsman (Southport) - I know it's in Southport, but so many people from Liverpool were there.. Massive club on a few floors. Top place!
Leggs of Mann - brutally kicked down in its prime by the Liverpool Empire
Pickwicks - What can you say about this place (Now a car park) - massive, two pubs within the place and loads of dancefloors - mad place. Used to be great.
The Continental - wowzers - great place again.
The State - it was a state as well
Sullies in Bootle - where I met my missus (Not the small Sullies one with the upstairs restaurant - the one they built over and beyond the original when it burned down - think it's closed again now..)
Streets - when it used to be proper Streets was a great venue
Chaucers - used to have some great nights in there
Chauffers - round the corner - used to be a laugh
Plummers - what a place that used to be!
Any more for any more?
