Anyone in the same boat as us?

Booked to go and a mate with 7/8 said we could have his tkts as his sons can't go. As far as I know, he gave them our details.

But in the light of the above extra sale, we MIGHT get one 2moro - so do we give them our details? Will they realise if we do? Can't afford NOT to buy them 2moro with group games to come (hopefully)....

Do you just put all the info in the extra info text box or....??

What are others doing? Cheers! :wave

Anyone heard anything about trains back to Heidelberg?
Last train is 22:47 which is too early. Then after that a bus at 0:05. But if there's a thousand of us going back, I think the bus might be a bit full.

Rumours they were gonna put on extra services but not heard anything definite yet.

Got a Flixbus to Brussels for £20.  I'll have a look at the price of trains to Frankfurt (or whether you need to pay at all) when I get there, then decide if I can be arsed to go the rest of the way.

Can you pay for tickets on the train in Belgium / Germany or do you get a hefty fine?

My mate lost his credit card which he made the DB Bahn booking with, he had ID cards and everything to prove he is still the person that made the booking, but these fuckers didn't care. 75€ was the fine.

that was during Dortmund away - so 1,5 years ago.

I was just reading that if you approach a conductor you can buy a ticket for a small surcharge.  Random trains also have inspectors though who will charge you the higher of 40E or double the ticket price, if you don't have a ticket when they ask.

He should have complained about the fine by the sounds of things.

Bus from london to cologne is £27, seems much closer, then train to Sinsheim

Usually (at least in Germany) you need your ticket before you go on the train or you get a fine..

Can't be arsed to sit on a coach for that long, maybe for a final, not for the first leg of a qualifier.

You pay a surcharge on ICE, so you can buy a ticket but costs more than the station.  I'll just say I'm going to Antwerp, if I can't get to the bog to hide in time.

Aye sounds pretty good to me! Not sure where to go in the day, whether to go to Heidelberg or Sinsheim. Assume the former if Sinsheim is that small.

I can't remember ever buying a ticket on a train in Germany. I think usually if you haven't got one, they take your details, kick you out at the next station and then send you a letter with a fine. But maybe things have changed.

Also if you need tickets, buy them off a machine, not a person, because they charge you extra when you use a ticket office instead of a machine (not much, but still).

Edit:
Looked it up....yes you can buy a ticket on the train, but only for long-distance trains (ICE/IC/EC). You pay 12.50 euro extra (on long distance tickets). You can't buy tickets on local trains.

Not that I know that much about the area but from German colleagues they all
Seem to say not much happening in Sinsheim and best to go to Heidelberg as more going on.

Sinsheim are organising a fanparty. But i doubt that it will be much fun.

I'll be going to Heidelberg. The best part to have a beer is the old town. The best would be probably somewhere around the Marktplatz. A lot of pubs, bars and a small brewery are in walking distance from there. (e.g. the Untere Straße is a small street with a lot of places to drink similar but not as good as Mathew Street)

Ticket collection over there is from 5:45pm to kick-off at the AWAY ticket booth at the ground with ID and LFC Staff will be available to help.

From the plan of the stadium that looks like the Eingang Nordost (North East) near the entrance H for us.

emails are being sent from the club to all supporters who need to collect.
