So Bayern to wrap up the title in early March again?

Yawn.

Dortmund hammering a good side in M'Gladbach is very impressive. Hopefully they give Bayern a good push this season.

Leroy Sane looks some player. Ran almost the length of the pitch to assist the 3rd goal for Schalke. Think Schalke will do well now that they have gotten rid of the clown Di Matteo.

Only caught 20 minutes of the Dortmund game at the weekend but Reus looked incredible.

I think Mkhitaryan will have a good season: he managed a hat trick versus Wolfsberger; scored tonight versus Odd; and got a brace (and one offside goal) against M'Gladbach last weekend.

Hummels was absolutely comically bad tonight.

I think I'm at the point where he's just a bad defender. It's not poor form or inconsistency...he's just bad. If you're 26 and still having more bad games than good, especially as a centre back, you're closer to worthless than world class - no matter how well you can pass out from the back, or if you look like Beckenbauer reimagined once every 10 games.

Oh come on. Yes he has bad games, and isn't the world class beast everyone thought he would be 4 years back, but he's still a quality player. He's had 1 rough season (last), and been largely very good over the last 4-5 years. He's not world class, but a good ball playing center half who has the occasional clusterfuck game in him. Sort of reminds me of Agger in that way. Similar level at 26 too I'd say.

He's incredibly overrated.

Weidenfeller is also very poor these days. That third goal last night. :lmao

Only a week after signing for Leverkusen, Charles Aránguiz tears his achilles and is probably out for at least the remainder of 2015.

Really unfortunate, as I was looking forward to him lining up for Leverkusen.  :(

Alonso playing centre back. Is there anything this man can't do. Why did we let him go.

Good start for Tuchel, they were playing a rather poor side mind.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

I watched the Dortmund game today. It's great to see them playing at this level again.

Of note... Julian Weigl, their 19-year old central midfielder who's currently keeping Bender and Castro out of the starting XI. Looked class, seems to have everything. Might be a future star.

Yea, De Bruyne contributed to 43% of Wolfsburg's goals last season in the the Bundesliga. Obviously don't see them getting a like for like replacement. Interesting to see how Bas Dost responds this season without his service.

Leverkusen have more problems at CM and CB because of injuries and probably a bigger worry than Son departing.

So Son is officially gone (thank god)...
Leverkusen just (re-)signed Kampl from Dortmund for around 11m €. Kampl played for Schmidt in Salzburg... Hope he can slot in right away.
And Leverkusen is about to loan Hojberg from Munich for a year. If that deal gets done too then it has been a good window. Just a shame that Aranguiz is injured....

Anyway 30m for Son is daylight robbery and I am very glad this has happened
