Young guys like Lando and George are hopefully what the sport will be built around for the next decade, cracking attitudes and importantly on the right side of the fence with stuff like racism
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

mclaren. looks like a real car but who knows.

the aston side pods so far are an outlier.

I don't mind that, but it's a bit of a crowded looking livery, like they're still traumatized and over-compensating for not having any sponsors a few years back.

Bit of on-track footage of the new Aston:

The Aston is interesting… it essentially gives it a double floor with a tunnel between  the two to funnel the air down..

It’s much wider than the Hass at the back end (which seems very narrow)

Nice to see such different takes on the new regs. McLaren switching the pull/push rod suspension around is intriguing

Notice the tunnel under the radiator intakes.  Will channel air there which will in essence create two floors, one above and below the intakes. Wonder how much impact this will have

Bit underwhelming. As has been said, it's just a sponsorless Alpine. I had hoped that without a major naming partner they could do a better job of a throwback livery - nobody is rocking the Saudia green and white.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.

You would think that is an Alpine alright

Losing Russell is a massive blow.

I think Albon will do ok outside of the red bull atmosphere

Latifi is bang average. Hopefully they get one or two sponsors in, might have a bit more prize money given they had some points last year.

One good thing about Belgium I suppose was Russell *finishing 2nd

Interesting talk about these side pods. Mercedes engined cars seem (who knows) to have a different arrangement here due to the different arrangement of their turbo

May help the aero on the non Mercedes’ cars? Time will tell.

I really dislike these dark cars, they don't show up well on TV and make distinguishing between the cars difficult.

Latifi, Stroll and Mazepan are just rich kids whose Daddy's bought them a F1 ride and in Stroll and Mazepan's cases a whole team. None of them if things were based on talent and skill would be in an F1 car.

Probably not this season the Alpine will probably have pink all over it as they are now sponsored by that BWT that were on the Force India/Aston Martin over the last few years.

Loving the new(old) look noses, the Williams has got definite FW14B vibes about it, hopefully it'll have more in common with that than the recent cars, be great to see them further up the field.

Pretty much I think, but it’s also understandable to a degree, it’s been a big burden the teams had to carry for 28 years now, personally when I think of Williams F1 the first thought that comes into my head is probably still Imola 94 despite all of their achievements even after Senna’s death.

4. Eduardo Frietas and Niels Wittich rotate as RD. Herbie Blash new permanent sr advisor.

Michael Masi sacked as race director.
It only took them 3 months to do the bare minimum. Even before the farce of Abu Dhabi he was surely on shaky ground. Masi was not competent at his job and so rightfully was sacked, but this does smack of a cover up of sorts. Masi gets sacrificed as almost an apology to Hamilton and Mercedes but in reality not much changes.
