Just throwing it out there...no way in hell we'll be losing a penalty shoot-out any time soon...

Pepe stopping theirs and our line up looking like this: Gerrard, Kuyt, Adam, Suarez and 1 other...

It'd be all over by the 4th penalty anyway

Was very poor stuff from a supposed penalty specialist wasn't it? No attempt to stick it in the corners, just run up and put his foot through in hope, showed a lack of quality.

Afterwards, not sure. Noone else in our team has successfully scored a penalty (although Suarez, Bellamy, and Carroll have all missed).

I am amazed at how many we have missed already this season. Usually we miss no more than 1 per season.

For me it is Gerrard, Kuyt and Adam who should be the penalty takers. I thouht Adam would score last night and by his body shape was going to put it into the opposite corner. Wish he had done too.

Kuyt from now on or Stevie.

I know that today the penalty seemed insignificant, that Suarez would of taken it better and was given to him for a kind of morale boost but the missed/Saved penalties we had is a concern for me. Wigan reflects my worries, had Adam netted that one we'd be in a nicer position in the table, but such is football.

Still, a minor issue compared to some problems in our team. We need to make sure we net them!
