Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, if they’ll be open post game....

Piccadilly Left Luggage closes at 11pm, so will be OK if finished in normal time and we’re not held in......

Left luggage
You can leave luggage at Excess Baggage Co, between platforms 10 and 11.

Monday to Saturday 07:00 – 23:00
Sunday 08:00 – 23:00
You can pre-book storage for your heavy, awkward or high-value luggage at one of our station left luggage facilities.

Just hope there is no ET!! :D

Thats ridiculous what about Women with handbags and fellas with mini backpacks
Yeah it's a bit of a pain, I usually carry a smallish handbag for my purse/phone/keys and inhaler etc, plus the usual female paraphernalia!

I wonder is it just our end I bought a ticket in the city end off viagogo pick up on the day. I believe they are an authorised re seller.

Yeah quite possibly. No mention of a bag drop-off either so not sure what'll happen when people inevitably turn up with bags.

I haven’t checked but I think it’s this game, our end. If you link to the general info on City site for away support you’re allowed to bring a small bag. Reckon you’ll be fine in home end, as you’re not a bus trashing Scouser........ ::)

Oddly I got a Royal Mail email this week about my ticket delivery. First European away game in about the last 10 that I've received the email!

Is anyone driving back to London after the game?

Or alternatively, has anyone got a dead early ticket back the next morning that they can swap for me that gets in at 11?

If it's anything like the one at Lime Street it will fill up quickly and you might not get a place even if you've pre-booked so give them a ring or email direct.

Never understood this. If you've pre-booked a spot, shouldn't they guarantee you a space?

They should - I asked the man running the Lime Street one and he said they don't always get a notification. If anyone is planning on dropping bags off do it early just in case.

The other problem at Lime Street is it's sometimes full of nazis:

I’ll be in city centre from about 4. Can’t think of anywhere decent. Away fans normally go by the shambles square pubs near selfridges/Arndale centre  I think it’sbut not sure we’ll be afforded the same welcome!

Shit load of reds in Yates at the Printworks now.
Would be even more fun if you could stand up to a hook to the jaw for being a snidey bastard. But then that's reality! No one needs to 'swim or drown' in a coward's paradise.

We left Anfield at 4.45 and got in the ground at 7.30. Wete we the only ones who got stuck in traffic big time?

Didn't miss anything and it was easy getting in by then. A quick pat down and only 2 in Q in front of us. We just thought others would have been late too. Unless they went for the afternoon. It was like it was just OUR jam! :D

Not that any of it mattered when Mo did his usual. Amazing! Roll on Friday....

Took us about an hour to get from the end of the M602 to near the ground to park, absolutely crawled the last 4 or 5 miles. Got to L3 entrance about 7.25/7.30pm and got in just for kick-off.
I clutch the wire fence until my fingers bleed,
A wound that will not heal, a heart that cannot feel.
Hoping that the horror will recede,
Hoping that tomorrow we'll all be freed.........JUSTICE.
