Given that the SOS lads have managed to get Sky to come and give the fans a chance to speak their minds in the same way as Hicks has been allowed to do today I dont get why this is being slated.
Yes, its short notice but do you think the SOS lads have been given time to plan? We all know what Sky is like, they want coverage and they want it in 10 minutes. This is a chance to get our point across. So lets go with it.

Wasn't "slating" it at all. just giving an opinion.
If Sky say "we'll cover it if you can do it in 1 hour", then, in my opinion, they should be told to bugger off. Don't trust them at all myself, and if only a handful of people turn up the Sky could easily:
a) Not run the story at all, or
b) (even worse) run it with derogatory comments about hpw only one man and his dog turned up.
The certainly WONT say "we of course only gave them an hour to sort this, so its a noble effort anyway"
Also, the basis of the protest could be a problem without proper organisation. The original post says "Anti American" and there's already disagreement on this point on this thread and in others. Some say Anti Hicks, others say Anti Texan, some want to burn US flags, others are dead set against it. There should at least be agreement on what form it will take before it happens.
I really hope that thousands turn up, and that it looks and sounds great - a clear message to the owners.
Just think it could have been arranged better, that's all.
