As long as players accept it, yes. The thing is, players rarely accept a very high release clause if their wages are not big as well.

Messi is Casemiro's weakness. So far he's been superior to every player bar him.

I don't think Delufeu is good enough for Barca, but let's not fabricate facts. He was good at AC Milan, one of their better players last season. Check any and every AC Milan forum if you want.

Everton paid Ł4.3 million for Deulofeu

Barca bought him back for Ł10.6m

He was average in his first season at Everton and wank in the second so was loaned to AC MILAN who will take anyone

They then exercise a Buy Back option

He has now replaced 200 million Neymar

That may be but he shouldn't be anywhere near the Barca starting line up.

You think of players they've let go Thiago at Bayern stands out as does Sanchez

Carvajal is a dirty get. We know the usual suspects like Ramos and Casemiro can put it about, but that right back is right up there with them.

Marcelo, on the left flank, is one hell of a footballer. He may not have Roberto Carlos's explosive pace, but he's far and away the best left back I've seen since.

That's another matter. If given playing time, he is a midtable quality winger. But he was one of the better attacking players for AC Milan, which means at a lower level league like Serie A, he can do a decent job for even a Europa League/CL team. AC Milan's 2 best attacking players were Delufeu and Suso, both young rejects from English clubs.

I don't think these two teams were so bad physically in previous Supercopas. Barely runs off the ball to get unmarked, lots of misplaced passes, players being late when tackling... This is the worst I've seen since I can remember.

Delefeou isn't going to fit in is he. Poor lad won't play again once they bring Dembele and or Coutinho.

Can't believe they got rid of Morata and kept Benzema. Horrible decision.

It is a Perez decision, and they thought they were getting Mbappe who they could not get.
