Could play him as a specialist opener and with the plethora of all rounders we have stil play someone else as keeper without really weakening the batting. Almost certainly won't happen as you say given it hasn't been tried before now.

You'd think he should be perfect for Aussie pitches but when we won there he only played in the first test (and took a 5fer I think).
