Yeah they could only get 35pts and Burnley are on 36 with a game in hand.

Least they’ll be down by the time we play them. No incentive for them so less intensity, it should play into our hands.

Yeah, i'm hoping Burnley confirm their survival tomorrow as well tbf. Palace with piss all to play for us as well.

Need to get a result on Thursday and then no excuses over the last 3 games.

Definitely Moyes idea of a flair player he can keep on the bench to bring on with 15 minutes to go and then point to when people call him boring.

Didn't we draw there a few seasons ago after being 2-0 up when they were already down? It will definitely be a tough game.

yep in the run in towards kiev but we didnt have top four sorted at that point. two late headers if i remember though we played roma 2nd leg the mid week before. the previous weekend i think we drew 0-0 with stoke at home

got that all wrong, was the week before the first leg and the stoke game was between the semi's. Danny ings did start and score though

Don't think it matters all that much, if they weren't relegated, the argument would be 'they're still fighting for their lives so it's going to be difficult'. Knowing Fat Sam, it might even be announced he's going to leave the club now that they're down before we play.

Regardless, still think for us it's going to be difficult to make the Champions League given the way the season's gone anyway, I just want to be in Europe at this stage.

Great stuff!! Although unfortunately he'll be back. Like Jason or Mike Myers he never goes away.
He'll win the league in the next 3 years. Quote me on that.
Quote me on this, but come next season he'll be great for us. Just needs to remove the walking headless chicken next to him

From a selfish pov, a safe Burnley might not try when we play them, even though I'd rather they lost all their remaining games and went down.
