Mark gave an interview with LFC.tv and is doing well, appears to be in good condition and spirits. He's still a massive red, and his English sounds like he lived in the UK for a decade :D

Always felt it was a shame he didn’t get the chance to play here when we first signed him. Had so much raw speed and talent.

Hopefully fully recovers from this. Same age as me so certainly brings things home a bit.

Always felt it was a shame he didn’t get the chance to play here when we first signed him. Had so much raw speed and talent.

To be fair he got messed around with a work permit situation and had to spend a year on loan at Real Sociedad despite being Chile's captain

Hopefully he's recovering well. I remember being really excited when he signed and I think he scored in the CL qualifiers to put us through but it never worked out for him for some reason.
